Quality
very happy. Little large side but a bargain for the money as I normally wear Timberland pro boots

Love that boot. Needs a few days breaking it in, but wears like a sneaker. You must be aware though, that it is not a full leather boot and might not last as long as heavier safety boots but I willingly compromise on that. Especially working in hot environments.

I got these on a "deal of the day" for about $60. Like many others, I was upset when Converse quit making them and sold the design to Reebok. I used to be able to get the 8" style for much less than the $100+ charged now. I much prefer the 8" over these 6", but I can't justify the cost. I normally wear a 9 1/2 wide width, but they weren't available at the sale price so I opted for a size 10m. They fit good enough. My last pair from Converse lasted 6 years as a LEO. I'm retired now, so if these last half that I'll be satisfied. 7/17/21 - Ok. 4 years later and they have held up really good, considering what I’ve put them through. I wear these now as daily work boots in my wood shop and taking care of 12 acres of property (mowing, land clearing, weed eating, etc). Until just a few months ago I was wearing them everywhere, except to church. They’ve been through lots of mud and standing water and are still in good shape except the sole is starting to separate at the toe. At the $60 price I paid 4 years ago, they were an outstanding purchase. Now at the $100+ price they will still be worth it. $30 per year for really comfortable boots is extremely fair. I definitely recommend.

This was my second pair of these boots. I liked the first pair so much - mainly because they are so doggone comfortable - that when the heels wore down and started cracking after two years, I bought another pair. I live on a farm, and wore these boots for the myriad of tasks that living on a farm entails. I expected them to perform at least as well as the previous pair. They did not. This pair didn’t even make it a year before they split on the outer sides (see picture). That is the reason I gave it a two-star rating; work boots should be able to hold up to actual work. I prefer to slip on and take off my boots without having to lace and unlace them, which is one reason I went with the Reeboks; they have a side zipper. To replace the Reeboks I ordered a pair of Wolverine Men’s Core Hellcat Wellington boots, which is an all-leather boot that should be easier yet to put on and take off. I also expect them to be more water resistant than the Reeboks. We’ll see how well the Wolverines hold up. I’ll post a review on them once I’ve had a chance to try them on and use them for a while.
