Awesome results from weekend warrior
Preparation is key on the surface you’re painting. Most of the meh reviews are from people who did not prepare and apply the paint correctly. This paint matches my 1998 Honda BF50 very closely. Follow the instructions. Super happy with the results.

Like any new review, if this changes, I will update it. But as of now, this paint one on exactly as expected and has a great look on a 2000 model Honda 90 hp outboard.

Boat and motor refresh
I used this on a 2003 Honda BF50 (3 cylinder carbureted motor) for the foot and the cover for the air intake on top which was suffering from the sun. After sanding it down smooth and using a quality primer I sprayed it on. It looked like it was going to be too dark, but as it dried it lightened up. Make sure and shake the can very well before, as well as during, use. When the paint had dried I used a UV resistant clear gloss and my motor looks great. I'm redoing the entire boat and motor (new gaskets, plugs, impeller, etc.) and want it to look as close to original as possible. This paint definitely helped. This is not the newer Honda true silver color. Great purchase, delivery was quick with no problems at all! Would definitely do business with them again.

Poor color match
I have a 2006 bf150. The color should have been a perfect match. The middle cowling was what was painted. I think my Toyota highlanders paint would have been a closer match than this one that was labeled as the correct color. I finished the project thinking I am not sure if it is better. Before was 3/4 pealed down to just primer.

Poor coverage
The color match was close but not perfect and the coverage is not good. I have tried numerous options with and without primer and the paint seems to spot not providing a nice even coating. I purchased two cans and attempted to cover a small area with the first can and really never achieved the desired results. The pricing was good, however not a deal for me because I purchased the genuine Honda expensive paint before using the second can.
