A real solid stand.
I was initially going to get another stand very similar to this one, but after reading all of the reviews and looking at the pictures for the various stands, I noticed how thick the materials that GT Omega was using. It's about twice as thick. Almost every review said that this is a solid stand. Unlike a lot of the others. I'm certainly not disappointed. It is a rock solid stand. As far as putting it together. That was a total piece of cake. Most of it is already together. Just look at the picture and make it match people. I never looked at the directions until after I put it together. I do have to agree. They are rubbish. I needed a stand that I could fold up and be put away and this does it quite easily. Not sure what some of the complaints were about. It takes me very little time to collapse it to put it away. This thing does cost more than the other stands that work and look pretty much the same, but this thing is a very sturdy stand and well worth it. You get what you pay for people. If you need something that folds away and is rock solid, this is the one for you. It does weigh more, but the material is far thicker. Has to be expected. Even after the G29 wheel and pedals were mounted it only weighs 39.5 lbs. I'm 69 years old and have no problems taking this wherever it needs to go. A great buy for the money.

This is a great wheel stand
Heavy and sturdy and very stable. Mostly easy to set up and fold down; just 2 easy to remove bolts with large hand grips on it that spin in and out easily when needed other wise they stay in place. The wheel deck height adjustment is held in place by the same type of hand bolts with a smaller threaded shaft. This one also came with the V1 shifter mount. The only issue I had with it was getting the bolts in that attach it to the bar. The clearance is pretty tight, or it's just my fat fingers. I look forward to using it when I get the Thrustmaster shifter. My only cons aren't toward GT Omega as much as they are toward the dozen or so reviewers I've read and or watched on Youtube. Not a single one mentions is that there are extra M6 bolts (wing bolts at that) that you can use to hard mount your wheel base and pedals, This would have been nice to know before I went out and bought some M6x25mm bolts. Also it is very heavy once you get the wheel and pedals in place, so it does make folding this up and moving it out of the way a bit of challenge. Comparing this to the Wheel Stand Pro (something I do no own). The WSP looks like it would be easier to fold up and put away and then set up again, it just looks like it won't be as stable. The GTO stand is a bit more of a challenge to set up and fold up but once it's up it's done. Plus which there is a seat add-on that you can get and tied into the stand that turns it into a full cockpit and you can get a monitor stand to with it as well.

Great sturdy stand
Think this is a great stand for the money. Very sturdy. Does not tilt when steering wheel is turned. Don't have one nor do I know but expected the style with the steering column would tilt. Stand has some weight to it. You can definitely feel the quality. I bought this version because I have an AK rocker that I bought like 15 years ago and did not want to have to make another purchase for a different type of seat. Might as well use what I already have...I figured. Stand is fully adjustable like listing states. Just have to make it work to your own style and set up. I wanted the style with the seat but wife wanted me to put it in another area and give up the 65" TV. NO WAY AM I GIVING UP THE 65"! Just saying. Besides wanted to be able to use what I already had. Instructions are a little vague. Very IKEA style but straight forward. Did not care too much for the packaging from Amazon. Usually don't have a problem with Amazon but the Omega box was put in a larger box with just paper packaging on the inside and a single clear piece of tap to close the box. Not the normal Amazon tape used. But the Omega box was packed well. Plus, like I said before, the stand is pretty heavy and sturdy. Only thing if found to be difficult during assembly was aligning the holes for the pedals to the plate. Plate has like 50 holes in it which I understand but still annoying. Small price to pay for what I got. Also received three sets of Allen wrenches which I thought was overboard. Overall I am very happy with the stand.

Stop shopping, THIS is the one you want!
I browsed reviews and looked at dozens of these for MONTHS. I finally pulled the trigger on the GT Omega and even though my wheel is too old to use the proper holes for, I'm EXTATIC for when I update! This thing is absolutely SOLID! I also didn't want the bar between my legs, but this thing doesn't suffer from instability at ALL without it! My Driving Force GT wheel, as mentioned, is too old for the holes to line up. But that's not this thing's fault! I simply folded up some of the packing foam that it came with to stick between the two table-grippers that you tighten down (as the mounting plate is thin for easier screw mounting) and the lip of the plate prevents you from being able to tighten all the way to the plate itself. This works great for oval racing, as your turns are slow and calculated. I learned, however, that I'll need to go buy something harder to put between there for road racing. The sudden jerks on those cause me to have to keep tightening harder and harder on the foam and it's completely smashed now. But again, NOT this thing's fault! Surprisingly enough, even though the foot holes don't necessarily line up either, you can still get 1 screw on each side of the pedal base to line up JUST enough to stable the pedals on the bottom plate. I'm a nervous wreck when in traffic, so I push down HARD on my pedals, but they don't move an inch. Neither does the rest of this rig. It's truly a tank, which I had hoped for, but am still impressed! Don't try to save yourself another $20-30. Just buy this one and you'll be set! Love that I can fold it down and tuck it away if I want. But racing is almost ALL I do now, so that's not happening anytime soon!

Se mueve solo un poco si tienes pedales Load Cell, y resortes muy fuertes. De muy buena calidad y resistente. Muy bien hecha y muy fácil de armar y montar el volante y los pedales.

This is a great stand if you don't want the simulator chair. Nice and sturdy, and I don't have any issues with it being tippy. Easily folds up for storage. Only issue was that a bolt was missing that holds then steering wheel plate to the frame, but I was able to switch a couple bolts around and make it work just fine. All in all, I am pleased with this stand.

This steering wheel stand is well-built and is very sturdy... exactly what you need for intense racing. Folds up nicely even with the steering wheel and pedals installed (Logitech G920). I don't have a shifter (yet), so I can't say how sturdy the shifter stand is, but I have no doubt from looking at it that it will be good and sturdy as well.
