This has made my kitchen time SOOOO much more productive! Has cut my cooking times in half by not having to wait forever for pans to get hot, especially cast iron or enamaled cast iron. Boiling ANYTHING now happens in a flash! It adjusts QUICKLY if I need more or less heat. The very large "burner" accomodates even heating in my 12 inch skillets easily. I do reccommend getting a cooking mat to keep pans from sliding around on the glass, as well as to protect the surface from spills and scratches - and makes for super fast clean up when doing fried items. If you are thinking of getting an induction burner, THIS is a very affordable and high quality item. - Having experienced this, I am considering getting an induction stove.
