High quality, always palatable, no objectionable smells, Low Phos Kitty crack we can barely afford.
This uber-expensive, smooth, luxury mouse-pudding of a cat puree is SOOOO addictive. Now we have to let ALL the members of our pride have some when we feed it to our "Low Phos" patients. It's expensive, not always available, and like kitty crack....apparently. It disappears from the plates before we can even walk the empty can to the sink. It's not only highly palatable to sick kitty, but sadly, EVERONE else! Aside from the economic hit we're taking, WE even enjoy feeding it to them, as it has no strong objectionable smell, and the can is so easy to clean (unlike Dave's low phos - which has the hardest to clean can we've ever encountered). It's got everything one wants in a quality low-phos food....except affordability. Thank goodness Weruva now offers this premium pate in the 5.5 oz cans....we just wish Amazon could keep the 5.5 in stock...so our little spoiled pride doesn't tear out ALL the mill work around the doors, shred the mail, and break things of "comparable value," while they're jonesing for their "drug" and punishing us for giving them ONLY the other "healthy" foods in their usual rotation. (It's as well tolerated to sick cats as that horrible-smelling Rx pate you get from the vet for your cats when they require "hospice" type care....but Weruva's has no objectionable smell to humans that our two sensitive vegan noses can detect). Please Weruva....can you make your kitty crack pate more affordable? Please?

BEWARE: ADDICTIVE !
I have a soon to be 19yr old cat, who was going down hill rapidly 2 1/2 months ago. He has been on the famous brands prescription renal diets (canned and dry) for the past 5 years although he was in very very early stages of renal failure...maybe stage 1. He was on the food because I had 4 of his siblings and all had varying degrees if renal failure. The other 3 have passed in the last 2 years....from cancers, not renal failure, so I'm left with one. Although renal food may cause a loss of muscle mass which is sad to see, it did control or stall the renal failure. My boy has several medical problems so when he started failing, getting him to eat became impossible causing him to lose even more weight ...to skin and bones. He was only in Stage II of renal failure due to the strict diet. It really upset me seeing him lose weight almost daily. I would pet him and only feel bones. On my last vet visit, in addition to adding another medicine, the vet said give him anything he wanted to eat in order to keep the liver working and get him to gain weight. He was really on the edge of giving up and he was so weak. I decided to try Weruva Phosphate controlled food. OMG....the cat hasn't stopped eating this after the 1st taste!! He devours this food. It seems to be a very clean protein quality food. It's not cheap, but neither are the ingredients, but neither was the prescription food which had less quality ingredients in my opinion. In the past 2 months, he has filled-out and now I do not feel a boney old cat, but an elderly cat with nice coat and appropriate weight. He was 10.2 lbs earlier in the year, then a few months ago went down to 7.9lbs. He is now 9.2lbs. That's a lot. This food says it is only a supplemental feeding, not for all the time, because it is very low phosphate and doesn't meet the FDA cat food requirements. So I have ordered the regular Weruva also, the lowest protein I can find, and add a phosphate binding powder to the food (important for renal failure treatment). Hopefully his next blood test and renal values in 3 months, will look okay after giving him this food for several months. By then he will be 19 yrs old. All I know is that this food saved him at the time, and gave him something delicious to eat again. He demands this food now....and for now, I'm happy to give him the calories he loves, although I may have an impossible time if I have to go back to a straight prescription renal diet.

Sadly, cat doesn't love it
Bought these to try for my cat that has kidney disease. Love the small can sizes, simple ingredients, and that it's low phosphorous for cats with renal issues. I'm always hoping to find a non-prescription cat food that's kidney disease friendly. Unfortunately my cat would only eat about half a can of the puree and he wouldn't eat the chicken in the gravy cans. He downed the "gravy" but wouldn't eat any of the long chicken strings in it. He's finicky with textures. I was happy to be able to try a variety pack rather than having to try two different packs individually, but sadly now I'm still left with a bunch of cans of food that my cat won't eat.

A steady companion to the fragile, steadfast heart of a feline friend.
In the hush of evening, when a cat’s quiet footsteps drift like shadows across the room, Weruva Wx Phos Focused Wet Cat Food offers a gentle solace—subtle, subdued, and crafted with a care that echoes the soft melancholy of the moors. Its formulas, made with remarkably low phosphorus, seem wrought not for indulgence but for tenderness, as though shaped for creatures whose bodies now ask for mercy as much as nourishment. The food settles into the dish with a simplicity devoid of excess, a purity that feels almost pensive. Its natural ingredients whisper of clean sustenance, free from harsh intrusions, as if designed to comfort a feline whose days require quieter strength. The aroma rises mild and sincere—nothing gaudy, nothing false—just a modest invitation that even the most reserved cat may accept. There is a solemn grace in its purpose: not to stir excitement, but to ease the burden of dietary needs without diminishing the joy of mealtime. In offering this fare, one feels not merely the duty of caretaking but something gentler—the wish to protect a beloved creature from the harsher winds of life. Thus, Weruva’s low-phosphorus nourishment becomes a soft covenant of care, a small reassurance in a world often fraught with unease, and a steady companion to the fragile, steadfast heart of a feline friend.

Looks good to me but my cat don't like it.
I have a CKD cat so the low phosphorous is very appealing. The food looks really good and high quality coming out of the can. Unfortunately my cats won't eat it.
