I don't know if it's actual leather or just a braided rope--but it works great for my pendant!I wear it daily even in the shower as well and the color and durability has held up great after 2 months.I really like the clever clasp. It allows for pendant to roll over freely.The cord is very soft and flexible and comfortable around your neck, it did not get hard and crack like my other previous leather purchase.I would buy this again--great price.7/2020 update: I have been wearing this daily since I bought it over a year ago. It holds my pendant nicely, has not changed color or faded even when showering, clasp works great. Very pleased!

My expectations were exceeded with this purchase! The leather is nice, soft and comfortable to wear, Really like the closure.

I wanted something that would slip over my head as have arthritis. This does and the closurewas easy too use Simple black goes with natural settings

The necklace was thicker than anticipated and gave off a more masculine feeling which I wasn't going for. The material doesn't exactly look cheap but feels like it isn't great quality. But overall it is a decent necklace.

It’s hard to find a good quality leather cord necklace online it seems. Especially one with firm clasps where the cord doesn’t fall out of. I am delighted with this one! The clasps feel nice and secure, the cord is soft to touch and doesn’t feel cheap at all. I’ve worn two of them on and off and so far they’ve held up really well, with numerous sterling beads. I’d chose them again in future :)
