Great for oil painting brushes.
A good money saver and cleans brushes really well. Fill with low grade Linseed oil up to just below the coil and the coil will dip down into the oil when you agitate your brush against it to clean then spring back up when your done so that none of the pigment settles on it. I’ve been able to use the same oil for ages without needing to replace it with fresh oil. Brilliant design.

Must have for an oil painter
While expensive to buy in the uk compared to competitor cleaning tanks I find this to be absolutely perfect. I keep it filled with low odour solvent for cleaning my brushes and thinning my paint. It’s so effective at getting the paint out of brushes I find it enough to just use the silicoil and a rag for cleaning - no soap required. It’s large and stable enough for you not to have to worry about knocking it over. Absolutely essential.
