May be the best smart trainer at this price
This was a gift for my daughter and she loves it! Uses it daily with her 2024 Specialized Diverge Comp E5. May be the best smart trainer you can get at this price point. Provides great resistance and isn’t too noisy; she can listen to music without issue. Bluetooth worked immediately.

Excellent product !!
The product is excellent and does exactly what it promises. I've been using it for almost two weeks now, and it exceeded my expectations. It's very quiet, and the ride simulation is very realistic (I use the Rouvy App). Installation was super simple and trouble-free. I just had to buy a Shimano cassette identical to the one on my bikes, and I installed it myself. I have two bikes: one road bike with a quick-release axle, and the other a mountain bike with a 12mm thru axle. In both cases, thanks to the shims provided with the trainer, they worked perfectly. Regarding the seller, delivery was very fast, many days earlier than Amazon had estimated. I recommend the product.

It works with room for improvement.
First time using a smart trainer. I have used it for about a month with no issues. Set up wasn't bad. The calibration in the thinkrider app is in Spanish as an English speaker I figured it out. On the bottom of the trainer a red LED flashes and increases with your effort. Cool except it cant be turned off. Unplugging it is the only solution. Poor design. The update needs a switch. The other complaint is that it is not compatible with virtual shifting. Hopefully a firmware update will come along and allow this option. Other than that the price is great and works well with the Zwift and Rouvy. Its a great starting point to test the smart trainer waters. Probably won't be my last trainer.

I'm impressed with the ease of Bluetooth connections!
I needed some help from my local bike mechanic to attach my Trek road bike to the trainer, but other than that I've had no issues at all. The Bluetooth connection is consistently smooth and painless. The trainer itself is as quiet as I'd hoped and I don't have trouble listening to podcasts with earbuds while riding. Well worth the price.

Very pleased with this direct drive trainer!
I really only wanted a direct drive trainer to literally hold my bike in place so I could ride indoors and have full control of shifting and power. So I cannot speak to the “smart” component of this trainer, I can only speak to it as a direct drive trainer being used in “free ride” capacity. And here I can say this has been an AMAZING purchase! It did necessitate me ordering a cassette that is the same as what my rear wheel has on it (about $50), and I had to resort to my husband’s help to actually get the cassette on the trainer since that needed a particular tool…and there is a specific way to put the spacer(s) on so that the hub is free-spinning, but once that was all squared away, this has worked like a charm! Super easy to move too, as it’s not very heavy and has an easy carrying handle on it. It’s also quite quiet and I’m able to do standing intervals/sprints with security too. A truly fantastic purchase from the standpoint of being a direct drive trainer!!

worth the money!
If you want a cheap and reliable bike trainer. Get this. Easy to install just 4 screws. Really changes the resistance depending on the trail. Its very sturdy! Even during hard pedaling standing up.

I was pleasantly surprised until I WAS NOT!!!
Easy setup, I am using My Whoosh with an iPhone 16 and have zero complaints. It does not have an on/off button so I purchased a extension cord with a on/off switch so I don’t have to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in. Edited 1/13/2026. I began having issues with the ThinkRider not outputing the cadence reading that could only be corrected by unpowering and repowering the unit. I updated the firmware, recalibrated, tried different apps all with the same result. I contacted ThinkRider and they told me via a message that the cadence sensor was faulty and they would send a new one as it was "easy to change" rather than warranty the unit. What arrived via snail mail is an ANT cadence sensor that ThinkRider wants me to put on my bike's crank arm. Knocking my review from 5 to 3 stars as I feel ThinkRider knows they have a trainer with "issues" and they do not want to stand behind their warranty.

Still discovering what this can do but it's been fantastic so far. Using with MyWhoosh and zero issues. It makes less noise than the drivetrain, feels remarkably lifelike - though this is my only experience wit ha smart trainer. So far very happy.

Bought this as a birthday gift for our adult daughter as she trains for a triathlon. She LOVES it! She really likes the function of being able to connect to apps and rave against other riders. It also adjust the tension automatically for hill training. The price of this is fantastic, especially when you compare it to other similar options which are much higher in price. Highly recommend.

4.5 / 5. Just arrived yday. It was too good a deal to pass up 16% of + a 20% coupon applied during cyber monday. Works as advertised. Ordered on a Tuesday and arrived on Sat - from China to Canada?! I think that's a new record for any shipment from there to me. Can't comment on accuracy of power but responds quickly to incline changes in Zwift and Rouvy and the gradients feel correct compared to my other trainer. Easy to setup and paired without any hiccups to my PC. The only thing I noted was that my bike was just on a slight tilt to the right and either it's my floor not being completely level or something to do with the trainer base being just a bit off. I didn't have this issue with a different trainer though. I shimmed the right side of the base with a few layers of duct tape and it's all good. I'll update if any issues.

Works well but I get a vibration when riding, I've tried 2 different bikes and both do the same thing.
