The Revopoint MetroX 3D Scanner is an absolute beast of a scanner! From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. It comes in a fantastic metal briefcase with custom padding inside, ensuring every item is securely protected. The attention to detail in the packaging is top-notch and sets the tone for the quality of the product. Using the scanner has been a breeze. The instructions are clear, making it incredibly easy to set up and start scanning. The build quality is outstanding, right down to the automatic rotary plate and tripod, which feel solid and durable. The precision of up to 0.01mm is mind-blowing, and the four scanning modes make it versatile for various projects, even with challenging materials like metal or dark surfaces. I haven’t activated the 30-day QuickSurface trial yet, as I’m waiting to start it when I begin a big project. However, I’m already thrilled with the potential this scanner offers. It’s a game-changer for my 3D printing workflow, and I can’t wait to use it regularly for creating detailed and accurate models. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate - this scanner is worth every penny. I’m so glad and happy to have this amazing piece of technology! Highly recommended!

Product built well, comes with lots of good accessories including a case and turntable. Laser mode works okay but the software representation that shows you areas that you have scanned is awful. You can barely see where you need to cover. Tracking of dots is average. Angle supported isn’t too wide. Then the feature tracking, horrible. Tested on lots of feature rich items large and small. Lost tracking which then cause poor alignment of data. Bought a creality raptor and it’s night and day, even without the cross line laser. Don’t bother with this, at least until the software algorithms catch up. Also most of these reviews are for scanning spray. Not the Metro X they are clearly trying to pump up the reviews on Amazon. Those reviews that are for the scanner are from people who got the scanner for free. So take everything you see with a pinch of salt.

I’ve tested several 3D scanners, and this one blows them out of the water! The level of detail is insane, picking up even the tiniest textures. The four scanning modes make it super versatile, and it handles dark and metallic objects better than expected. The software is user-friendly, and the setup was a breeze. Great for professionals or hobbyists!

I had hoped this would be able to create a 3d image of a part 500mm x330mm with a depth of 45mm!!! Regarding capturing the Z dimension ( depth ) It was very useless!!! Its the same as all at this price range- Not as capable as Advertised...cross lines and parallel lines modes proved to be useless on large objects even with markers. The Revopoint Metrox software is great.... product needed more development before release!

Dall'aspetto il prodotto sembra veramente professionale, a mio avviso non è un giocattolo. La dotazione di serie è strepitosa, imballo super convincente, comprende una valigetta in metallo protettiva dentro a 2 scatole di cartone, a mio avviso già questo la dice lunga sulla cura con qui è stato fatto questo prodotto, la scansione è veloce e fluida a differenza di altri prodotti "giocattolo" che ho provato. Il programma è semplice da usare ma devono essere fatte molte prove per avere un risultato ottimale. in base al materiale e alla finitura del pezzo che si vuole scansionare il programma deve essere utilizzato al meglio per il massimo del risultato possibile. Già dalle prime scansioni si ottengono risultati accettabili, ma credo che conoscendo meglio il programma, con il tempo si possano raggiungere risultati eccezionali, ne sono convinto. Altra cosa interessante è la base motorizzata, che si interfaccia direttamente con il PC, personalmente non avevo capito che la base rotante era automatica, e collegata direttamente al programma, è stata una gradita sorpresa. Sicuramente non costa poco, ma la qualità si paga. Aggiornamento, il software con alcune modalità di scansione mi é capitato che si bloccasse. Il programma non sfrutta tutti i CORE del processore. Ad esempio io ho un 8 core, ne sfrutta solamente 4 al 60% delle capacità. Funziona bene ma la parte software andrebbe migliorata.

Konnte das Teil leider nicht ausprobieren. Mein Computer entsprach nicht den Leistungsanforderungen für ein 3D-Scanning. Eine Neuanschaffung hätte über 3000 € gekostet. Das war mir zu viel. Die fünf Sterne beziehen sich auf den professionellen Support und die problemlose Rückgabe.

Le produit a été livré très rapidement. Le scan fonctionne parfaitement, conformément à la description. Après plusieurs jours de tests, je confirme qu’il est tout à fait possible de scanner des objets noirs ou métalliques brillants avec le METRO X, ce qui est difficile, voire impossible, avec mon autre scanner Revopoint MIRACO. Les deux appareils sont donc complémentaires, et je choisis de conserver les deux. Le METRO X est probablement l’un des meilleurs scanners grand public dans la gamme des 1000 €. Petit conseil supplémentaire : ne soyez pas trop économes avec les marqueurs. Le scanner en utilise un grand nombre pour assurer une bonne précision, et il vous demandera d’en ajouter si leur quantité est insuffisante pour poursuivre le scan deplus l'interface est assez simple d'utilisation et en français après installation. Bon Achat, je recommande.
