Hard to get this pen in UK, a bit pricey, but I wanted for my collection, and was delivered. 5*

This is a sturdy, well-built pen, and yes, it has a fair layer of copper over it. No complaints about Sharpie’s Gel Ink; be aware that they include a second refill in the back of the plastic packaging, so don’t throw it away by mistake. Having said that, I’m more of a Pentel Floatune 0.5 Ink kind of person. Unfortunately, the copper barrel won’t take it. Also, the barrel can be a bit slippery. Both are minor complaints though, and you can overcome this by creating a Frankenspen. The barrel of the Sharpie S-Gel Metal Barrel in Champagne fits the copper version very well. While the original copper barrel is prettier the Copper Metal Barrel combo doesn’t look too bad, it is far grippier, and more importantly, it will take your favourite Pilot G2-style inks like the Pentel Floatune or EnerGel, the Uni Zento or One, the Sarasa Clip or Dry, etc. Overall, it’s very good value for money and punches well above its price.
