Beautiful Scent With Minimal Smoke (Autumn Leaves)
I bought this incense after reading many reviews for the Autumn Leaves scent in the larger box. I personally have an acute sense of smell, and although I love incense, the smoke it produces usually stops me from using it often. Some of the reviews I read stated that the scent of this incense was too muted, but I have not found that to be the case. There is much less smoke than from Shrinivas Sugandhalaya LLP incense, that is made in India. This incense also does not contain an inner stick core, which I was looking to get away from. The scent is a delicate mixture that reminds of burning leaves, with hints of sandalwood and a touch of cinnamon. I live in the south eastern part of Texas, and it has been really warm although it is November. This scent has pushed me closer to believing it is fall, although the thermometer out here disagrees. I cannot wait to try other scents, and my next purchase of Autumn Leaves incense will definitely be the larger sized box.

Great Product
I seem to be one of the lucky few who's incense arrived in one piece. I admit that after reading the reviews, I was nervous about that. My shipping was delayed, despite the 2-day Prime shipping deadline. I ordered 3 different scents and all three were sent in an Amazon plastic pouch with absolutely NO bubble wrap or any kind of padding or protection at all. I'm extremely lucky that all three incense packs came to me in one piece. The incense itself smells absolutely divine. Unexpectedly sweet, subtle, and warm. More cinnamon notes than I was expecting, but it works. The packs only come with 35 sticks, but they are rather long ones and the scent lingers so i personally don't mind the price. 100% recommend, if you don't mind rolling the dice on broken incense sticks.

Subtle Scent, Clean Burn
This incense burns very clean- no black billows of smoke, no soot, just a steady stream of silver. The scent is subtle. It certainly does not smack you in the face like many incenses do. It does burn quickly and the sticks break easily, but there are so many of them in a pack, it’s not that big of a deal.

My favorite scent.
Recently used this at a friend's on vacation and nearly forgot how much i missed it. Such a comforting, light and peace-inducing scent. It really is lovely. I don't like flowery scents at all and this isn't. Incense can be very intrusive. This envelops you in a warm comfort. Highly recommend.

Outstanding
I am a former service member who was stationed in Japan for over 6 years. This smell takes me back immediately. To me this incense smells earthy and light. It burns quickly, and the smell does not linger long once the stick has finished. I smelled it a thousand times in Japan over the years, and now I can enjoy it in my home. This incense works especially well in a specifically designed holder. It burns all the way down to the very end. If you use it in an incense holder designed for sticks which don't burn all the way down, you are likely to get pieces of unburnt incense stuck in the holder. I highly recommend a holder designed for this type of incense, they are not terribly expensive.I love this incense, and have gone through three boxes over the past six months. I use it sparingly, only when I want to sit back, relax, and be transported back halfway around the globe.

One of my favorites!
This scent is by far my favorite, but I really enjoy the entire Shoyeido brand! Their scents are light and add a good amount of fragrance to the room without overpowering. Sometimes I like to open a window which seems to enhance the smell. These incense are also nice to use during the winter when things become stagnant. I've been experimenting with other scents from this brand (i.e. Moss Garden, Inspiration), but come back to Autumn Leaves for a daily driver. The other scents are very intentional and good for their purposes.I originally got these incense because my housemates are sensitive to the heavier incense I had before. Now I intend to stick with Shoyeido and highly recommend these to anyone looking for a gentle addition to their home.

Amazing smell, but beyond brittle.
These incense sticks have an amazing aroma, however they are beyond brittle. Some even crumbled with light touch. Although many broke, the package contains a ton so I wasn't left completely disappointed and did not feel the need to return. Just be gentle when unpacking and also when placing into the holder. I will note that not a single stick broke while burning, so that was a plus. 10/10 for scent. 2/10 for durability.

All-time favorite incense
I think the most telling review I could give this incense is that after purchasing a pack and finding out later that it was no longer available in the store I rationed it for the next 5 years despite having plenty of access to other products. In fact I would recommend any of the Shoyeido incense styles wholeheartedly but for my taste, Autumn Leaves is best and I am overjoyed that I thought to look for it here on Amazon! Also, I would recommend disregarding the reviewer complaining of overly brittle incense. Unlike some styles of incense, these sticks have no reed or other core to strengthen them and as such they CANNOT be forced into a burner they don't fit into well. I would recommend a bowl style burner filled with sand or ash or a burner that holds the incense at an incline as these often have larger holes as the incense holds itself in place. If I can hold on to this incense for as long as I have and have only a few broken pieces (that I burn anyway), I'm sure that the average consumer will be just fine as long as they have some sense.
