The only thing I did was take a razor blade and shave off some of the slimeyness on the edge to clean up my door handle and trim some back bc it was gooey at the handle edge. After edge was cleaned off, which is not rrquired by the handle cover, I slipped it on over and in place and am sooo pleased someone made this part to fix my door hadle issue! Feels durable and looks great! Can’t even tell its on there.
