Microsoft Surface Book 2 (Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB) - 13.5in (Renewed)

I bought this laptop because I wanted a touch screen that I could draw on (with the Surface Pen, which pairs painlessly and easily with the Surface Book 2) and that I could use for general word processing type projects. The keyboard is robust and solid, with good key feedback. The touch screen works exactly as desired. Separating the screen from the keyboard requires the laptop being charged so it can release the magnets, but otherwise, it works exactly as ended. I've done a little light gaming (Overwatch, mainly) with it, and while noisy, it still holds up quite well. The GeForce 1050 that's in there does all the heavy lifting.

Lil heavy, nice concept but screen is no as smooth as a regular Surface. But for the price they are now, u can't loose.

Needed a replace my old device since it was on it's last leg, and was on a budget but willing to still get a great device. The model I received had no outer damage or scuffs at all. Programs ran smoothly and even though it's an older computer that's refurbished, it felt very much new and ran more smoothly than any device I've own before. Only issue I saw was the battery life isn't as up to par as it claims to be, which could be troublesome with longer usage or when using in tablet mode. Overall if you're on a budget but still want a well functioning laptop I sure this one is a safe choice.

I buy the computer in june and is november and the software dies.

So far so good, i have faced 2 minor issues. - I have faced some issues with the charger getting disconnected at random times but only for short period then getting connected again. - When i first run the SB2 and I attempts to close the the screen the computer thinks i detached the screen when its half the way. This issue is gone now not sure if it comes back. - screen flickering, I'm not sure if this has a fix or not, but its noticaple in fast actions and it could get annoying. - Very heavy for its size Now to the pros: - Screen is crystal clear - Touch on the screen is amazing and the response is fast and drawing on this think is an absolute joy - over all build quality is fantastic - Trackpad and gestures is very co comfortable and easy to use, the best i have tested so far - Buttery life blow my mind, i can almost swear that this thing qill never run out of battery. I have listed some problems but i would still give it a 5 stars since this is a renewed unit and i got it for $300 less than a new one, its perfect for that price.

Refurbished Surface Book 2 shipped within 24 hours of sale (purchased on Sunday, shipped on Monday) and arrived a day early via UPS 2nd Day Air! Device was in Microsoft box with charger. No blemishes identified and the device has functioned perfectly so far. As a bonus, it turns out this was a Microsoft Certified Refurbished device, which I was not expecting. Thank you for a smooth transaction and a quality product!

I don't know if this is the fault of the product or the renewal service, but I have found this device to be extremely finicky. I've had to spend a couple hours getting the screen to detach consistently, and the mousepad click and spacebar both feel really poor after not much use at all.

[Edit: the seller processed without hassle the refund after contacting them through Amazon, so I updated to two stars] During initial windows setup, the trackpad stopped working -- had to do everything with keyboard. All troubleshooting and solutions attempted did not resolve the problem. Occasionally, quite randomly, the trackpad would start working again, but then it would just stop working again. This is almost certainly a hardware issue. Updating drivers, etc., did not fix anything. A few days later a new problem started -- it would repeatedly pop up (and beep) message that the display was disconnected/reconnected. Extremely annoying and no amount of troubleshooting resolved the problem. Again almost certain a a hardware problem. Returned it 11 days ago. They received it 3 days ago. I have not heard anything and there is no refund yet.

I’ve used a Microsoft Surface Book in my job as a trainer and content care for the last 5 years, I’ve just been made redundant and wanted something powerful and familiar for me. My work Surface Book is quite worn so I was expecting something similar for the money, but this one is just like brand new, literally no marks or wear at all. Be sure to choose the ‘Excellent’ model, you won’t be disappointed.

I liked the quality of the product. It works nearly like new. It had some scratches but they are tiny.

Il problema era la batteria con carica al 100% il tablet durava al massimo 2 ore usandolo per leggere e scrivere con il Word. Non stiamo parlando di disegnare o vedere video o modificare foto. Per questo motivo l'ho rimandato indietro. Sotto questo aspetto dire che faceva schifo e poco. Credo che se l'avessi tenuto non sarebbe passato molto e la batteria si riduceva a mezz'ora.

Very bad quality.touch screen not working and screen have a problem..fetch key have a problem and can not mount the screen from the keyboard .So many scratch’s on the back. i bought it and travel abroad and can not return it back now.i lost my money

bought a surface 07/11/24. Unfortunately, the usb-c port did not work properly so I decided to return it. The seller accepted the return and refund so everything seemed OK. Although they confirmed receipt of my shipment, to this day (08/12/24) Amazon has not processed my return. I am still waiting and nothing is happening. You have to seriously consider whether to buy refurbished items that the seller recommends as excellent.
