Great educational kit and great seller
My six year old grandson had so much fun excavating this dinosaur tooth! He was extremely disappointed that the box did not contain the dinosaur “poop” (because he’s six 🤣) but i contacted the company and Candi immediately, kindly, mailed it to me. He loves the book too.

Worth every penny for the smile it gave
My children truly enjoyed the whole process from digging and the excitement of finding the different pieces and especially the water clean up to see exactly what they got. Will definitely get more to do. Very messy with multiple kids but with it to see the smiles and giggles.

Occupied for hours
I bought three of these for my girls. We used it as our Easter, find things and learn. The size of some are great, some are pretty small. They each thoroughly enjoyed finding and learning about everything they found. One issue we couldn't really explain was one of the three blocks had weird black long fibers or hair through the whole thing. Two of the blocks we are guessing it was the dessert rose, completely fell apart into little sharp flakes, almost fish flakes size, we couldn't save whatever it was at all 😕 we have counted 20 items out of each block, not including the ones that fell apart or completely gone through yet.

Nice gift for a 10-year old boy
Perfect gift for my grandson. He had a good time getting the items loose from the plaster/clay like matrix & identifying his "finds".

Kid was SO excited
My nephew didn’t even make it home before he started excavating - there was dirt all over the carpet at the church where he opened this gift. Oops! He was enamored by this kit, and his mom sent me videos of him still enthusiastically working on it the following morning. Definitely recommend! (But be careful where you let the kid play with it if you don’t want a mess)

Here's a sample review for a National Geographic rock kit: --- "I purchased the National Geographic Rocks & Minerals Kit for my kids, and it has been an amazing experience for the whole family! The collection of rocks, gems, and minerals is beautifully curated, offering a wide variety of colors, shapes, and textures. Each specimen is labeled, making it easy to identify and learn about them. The kit also comes with a magnifying glass, tools for examining the rocks, and a detailed guidebook packed with fascinating facts. It’s a perfect blend of fun and education, sparking curiosity about geology and the natural world. My kids were thrilled to discover the hidden geode and crack it open—it was definitely a highlight! The quality of the materials is excellent, and the presentation is top-notch, making it an ideal gift for young learners or even adults who enjoy collecting rocks. National Geographic always delivers, and this kit is no exception. Highly recommend for anyone interested in science or looking for an engaging activity!"

Fabulous! Our grand daughter loved it and spent many hours extracting the fossils and gems. On the strength of this National Geographic product they went and bought the volcano kit.

My son and I enjoyed many f_'ing hours digging the fossils out. Basically me digging, son supervising lmao. Jokes aside, it's great value even if as a parent you'll end up doing MOST of the digging. I really got into it and my son enjoyed it too.
