The first spool is working well so far, very good value for money if they will last for a decent time.

They fit well and are reasonably simple to fit. Surprisingly little cable in them in comparison to the original and they really need to have a way to replace just the string rather than wasting all that plastic.That's not the supplier of this item's decision, but even so they are involved in the waste involved here and could make a reloadable design.Cable seems a tad rigid and brittle but if you keep it away from harder surfaces you should be okay.

Good value, fiddly to fit but it does the job.

Fitted fine, worked fine.

This product looks pretty much like the original, but looks can be deceiving, it has some key features missing which to my cost I have found out, if you look at the first 2 pictures you will see the original spool that came with my Qualcast GT2551X you will see that it has a raised ring inside the top of the spool, this is to locate the spring, the next 2 pictures show the spool I received you can see that it looks very similar but does not have the spring retainer ring inside the spool, as a result of the spring retainer ring being missing the spring can sit at an angle inside the spool & at this angle the spring does not give the same pressure as it does on the original spool & this prevents the spool being held tight enough to the spool retainer to prevent it being compressed & releasing more line, it also has damaged the spool retainer as can be seen from the last photo, small pegs are worn away (this is not from multiple spools but just 1) I will need to replace it before I can use the strimmer again. The next photos show the each of the spools , the first shows original spool which has a double step at the bottom of the button part, this is to locate the spool retainer, the new part does not have this. The next 2 photos are of the original first & the replacement next locating the spool retainer, with original there is virtually no gap, but with the replacement the spool can move about in the retainer along with the spring not acting on centre of spool this just makes the spool be more out of alignment.

It looked the same as the one on my old Worx strimmer but it was fiddly to fit as it kept unwinding it could be my fault as I hadn't used it or replaced one for years. The feed kept on jamming when using it but again this could be due to the age of the strimmer. I purchased pack of 3 if the others are the same when I replace them I may invest in a new strimmer rather than buy any more.

Works great and half the price

Fitted well but the design by qualcast of the strimmer is poor, you need to be an octopus to fit the two threads in. However, i managed to get the spool in and it all works well so i am happy.
