Good quality and value for the money
Been using it on an angle grinder with fiber resin sanding pads for 6 hours a day the past 3 weeks sanding down a log cabin with no issues. I also purchased a competitors two pack that was less expensive and when it arrived I immediately noticed the poor quality and it would not even fit properly on my angle grinder. Absolutely no issues with this one and I highly recommend it.

Good backing discs for sanding
Works well with my 71/2 inch grinder for sanding. I used it for my benches to remove old wood and lacquer from the benches. Worked great.

Accident Hazard
Update: The second pad broke too, in line with the first pad experience but this time there was no drop involved. This is a very unfortunate production. In my 28 years of working with fiber discs and backing pads of it I never experienced the falling apart of a plastic fiber disc backing pad. I usually have to replace them because the plastic gets trimmed over the years by the heat of fillet grinding or if it gets shaved of by a metal edge. This happened immediately after the grinder falling three feet to the ground. That this could shatter in pieces is an engineering failure. Engineering such as in the wrong plastic alloy used to produce this backing pad.As I said I use this for more then a quarter century and never had a disc backing pad fall apart. I accidentally dropped angle grinders at this height hundreds of times.Imagine the sharp edges of this plastic hits someone in the face that is standing a few feet away?If I'd be the seller of this product I would think about a recall on this item.
