Kecap Manis Sweet Soy Sauce (20.9 ounce)

Very tasty, great quality definitely a delicious buy.

Having spent time in the orient in service, I learned to like Oriental Stir-Fry and boy is this stuff great. The best I have used in many years. Oh, it works great on anything else that that Soy Sauce is used, as well as, many other things.

I was first introduced to Kecap manis when I lived in Europe and our Dutch friends used it as a seasoning. They had a lot of Indonesian food in the Netherlands. When I came home I found this product (a different brand), but it got more and more difficult to find. I then found this product, and it was delicious, so I order it all the time. I use it for stir fry (because it’s sweet and thick, you only need a little bit), and I dilute it to marinate baby back pork ribs, and we cook them on the grill. Wonderful!!

Thick sweet soy needed for mie goreng. I thought it was pricey until the large bottle arrived. I hadn't noticed the size in the description. Oops. This is a great deal. Less sodium than regular soy per tablespoon, so there's that.

I usually order this sauce every other month but as of recent these bottles they are packed in are so weak. I’ve had the cap break and the bottom round of the bottle come off after it fell from a bottom 3” off the floor shelf to my amazement it broke off in a perfect circle bottom about 3/4” tall :..must have been a mold indentation on the bottom but apart from loosening about 1/2 of bottom in all I still purchased it… tighten up the bottle materials please… 🙏🏾 thanks
