FlexiFreeze Re-Freezable 18 Can Cooler

I froze the bag (it collapses pretty flat), then put cold sodas in it - 12 hours later they were still cold. The ice pockets had started to melt as expected but sodas were cold. This will be perfect for carrying to a picnic, it's compact and efficient, easier to see the types of sodas instead of digging down into an ice filled huge cooler, or to take on a bus trip, or to any one-day event. If you are camping for a weekend or more, then you'll want the standard ice filled cooler. I have a lot of outdoor parties also, so I'm thinking I'll just label them with what type of sodas or beers are in them and it will be easier for people to grab, they won't have to dig down in the ice or go back inside to the refrigerator. And another advantage of course is that they take up less space to store. I can't imagine why the other reviewer thought they wouldn't be good for bringing home food from Costco - they are perfect for that - keep one in the freezer and grab it on your way to the store - However, they ARE the exact size of 3 6-packs of soda so if you are buying in large quantity then you'd want something larger, but the dimensions are given above, so I don't think it was fair to downgrade the rating because the reviewer bought the wrong item!

I read previous reviews and was concerned about the zipper quality and low and behold, the zipper was broken right out of the box. The cooler has a zip top and bottom so the idea is that you can unzip and fold flat to freeze......but, I went to zip up the bottom and the zipper was broken. So I basically had a cooler with no bottom... I returned this item the day after I received it.

The zippers are very difficult to zip when you have frozen the bag for use. However, if you can get that task done, it does a great job of keeping things cold.

Pretty much what I expected based on the description. Just got it, so still trying it out, and this is based on the initial usage.Seems to be keeping items cool - which is just what I need.How ever - the zippers are cheap and too small for what they are suppose to handle. I can see this will be the first thing that fails, and it will render the entire thing useless - when it happens.This definitely needs heavy duty zippers!

I love these coolers!! They're perfect for everything! For me, this size is a little big to keep in my freezer all the time but its great for football games, the beach, transporting food during road trips the uses are endless. I also have the 12 can cooler which my boyfriend uses everyday for lunch! :)

Great for small family outings (family of 4). Stays cold all day and holds just enough drinks and food for my family. Also light weight compared to a cooler without the hassel of needing ice or the risk of things getting soggy when the ice melts.

The zipper broke the first time I tried to use it. Very disappointed. I have a friend who received one as a Christmas present 9 months ago, and hers worked fine. In view of others who had a similar experience to mine, it looks like they changed manufacturers or had a bad batch. Buyer beware!

The zipper broke the very first time I used it. It needs to have a more heavy-duty zipper. I returned it and have received another one, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm not expecting the new one to be any different, but we will see.
