Has anyone had any trouble using two units in one vehicle and one remote controlling both units?

I have not tried that. Not sure one remote will control two units, should be on different Freq(s).I too use the remote for my lift and doors. I bought another unit for back up also.I just added a Viper engine remote start, no interference.

i have purchased 2 of these now, and neither one of them put out any power. you can hear the relays click but no power coming out. ???

If you don't have power going into the relay, no power will come out. The power leads only power the receiver, you need to run power to the relays,(harness)

Is the remote line of sight or is it something else like RF?

The remote does not need to be in line of sight It will turn on the unit from any point like RF

Is the main unit waterproff. I want to mount this on a motorcycle.

It is not waterproof but mounted in a dry area will work fine, Ive installed many of these and Ive even double sandwich bagged them with zipties, and never had an issue. Now that being said for a motorcycle, a better option is the omega rec 43. It also had four channels, but comes with 2 remotes, and the outputs can be configured as momentary, latched or timed, which greatly expands the uses. On my custom streetglide, I can turn on the stereo, turn on custom strobe lights, and raise and lower the air ride with one press instead of having to stand there and hold the button down. Crowd pleasers everytime...Hope this helps.
