Novus PPM Premium Polish Mates | Washable & Reusable | Pack of 6

I saw a few reviews where people called these "paper towels." Yes, they do resemble a paper towel, but they're really not. I scratched an expensive, custom-fabricated, large sheet of clear acrylic by using an actual paper towel on it. I ordered a scratch-removing polish and these very microfiber towels. When I received them, I did ask myself, "are these just heavy duty paper towels?" But here's the outcome: I polished the acrylic sheet using these and the scratches disappeared and the luster returned. THEN, I hand-washed these microfiber towels and drip-dried them, and they're good to go again. I cannot complain.

Great fabric when using the Novus plastic scratch remover/cleaner.

I was encouraged to purchase this from the Domesday 86 project (LaserDisc archival project). And while it does work well with the Novus Plastic Polish, I would not recommend its use for optical discs (LaserDisc, CD-ROM, DVD, Blu-ray) as it will put scratches in the disc. If you're good about it and clean inside-to-outside, you (hopefully) won't impact the readability of the disc; however, it will nonetheless put additional scratches in the disc.

First of all… these are truly lint free reusable. I’m a stickler for cleaning eye glasses and clear acrylic displays for my collectibles. If done correctly the reusable cloths are awesome! The cloths are made of cloth like material. Similar to US paper currency, these feel like crappy paper towels but they aren’t. They are actually clot fibers. Which is why they are lint free reusable cloths. I would first make sure what you are cleaning is dust free. Make sure you dust well enough first. 2nd, if you are cleaning your plastic eyeglass lens, I recommend using a good cleaner and microfiber cloth first to get rid of oils that smear. Lastly use this cloth with NOVUS 7020 | Plastic Clean & Shine #1. You’ll get perfectly clear glasses and displays that are well protected, static free. I just haven’t figured out how to clean the cloth yet. I want to avoid getting any type of residue yet clean the cloth, so if anyone has advice, please let me know.

The disposable polish mates work well on plastic surfaces as they don't scratch the surface. Great value for the money. Easily disposable are a big plus.
