This works fantastically!
This is the third one I have bought. Just received it today, so have not yet installed it. At my previous home we were surrounded by hills and the sewer smell sank into our back yard. I lived there from 1986 to 2015, we bought a sweet air and the smell disappeared completely. We never replaced the charcoal, but did buy the upgraded one about 2004. At my present home the garage was added onto the house, but the vent stack wasn’t extended through the garage roof. On windy days it’s quite stinky! I Installed the last two on a two story home, so even as a 71 year old lady I’m sure I can do this one! I can’t wait for the next windy day!

Stink gone
Septic tank odor gone after applying to vent pipe. Seems expensive, but price is competitive and the removal of the stink seems worth it. I’ve installed 4 of these now at different houses. Haven’t ever replaced the activated carbon.

Works well
These work well when you have sewer gas coming out of vents for different reasons that’ll happen whether septic or city sewer system. It just happens anyway easy way to fix it.

So grateful!
My wife and I just built a house here in rural Iowa. As soon as our septic tank and leach field were put in we began to smell stink outside. We have a vent stack (candy cane) on each end of the leach field and a smaller stack in the roof of the house. The smell could come from any of these and seemed to depend on wind direction and velocity. We ordered the Vent Stack Filter about two weeks ago and put it on the vent closest to the septic tank (the top of the leach field). The result is amazing. No more stink! OK, maybe a little off the roof stack sometimes, but it is so much better. There are instructions in the box and you do have to take the cap off and pour the carbon out of the plastic shipping pouch before installing the Vent Stack Filter.

Unbelievable!
I have never written a review about anything in my life. This product is worth it. We had a New house built. Our septic system had two candycane vents in the front yard. They emitted an odor constantly. For six months we tolerated it. I bought these filters and instantaneously the smell was gone and there’s a sweet smell in the air. I would buy this with zero hesitation.

No More SEWAGE SMELL!!
Had a sewage like smell in front of the house. Was concerned that I would have some VERY EXPENSIVE plumbing fixes to make. After speaking with a couple of plumbers to get an honest opinion, realized it was probably a down draft coming from a vent stack on the roof. The SWEET AIR Vent Stack Filter was a perfect fix.** I used electrical tape to secure the filter in position on the vent stack. This keeps the filter in position throughout windy/rainy conditions. No more sewage smell. THANK GOD.You must add the charcoal pieces to the filter before you use. No real instructions on how to do this, but it’s not complicated at all.Make sure you measure the inner diameter of your vent stack to find correct size.
