Pill Cutter, Vitamin Pill Cutter Medicine Splitter for Big and Small Pills

Was worried that for the price it would not do a good job but boy was I wrong. Easy to use and clean. Cuts the pills perfectly. Glad that I bought it.

Works fairly well. Some of my pills were very small to begin with but still had to be split but were not scored. Made it difficult to split accurately. That's not the splitters fault tho.

The description, "For Big and Small Pills"captured my attention as I have one tablet (Potassium) that is difficult to split even tho scored. However, I am disappointed to find that this pill splitter is a tiny bit too narrow to split that tablet.. it crushes it instead. The tablet seems to have a coating on it that allows sustained release, and crushing the tablet is not advised. I gave the product 3 stars because it probably would function for smaller pills, including supplements. I purchased the product because it specifically was advertised as being able to accommodate large pills but it did not work for MY large pill.

Works efficiently. On the sides of the V-shaped channel, there are ridges to help grip the pills. I had no problem cutting round pills into 1/2's or 1/4s'. A word of caution is that it may not work for larger bills- see attached pics. Otherwise a nice functional product.

I wanted something easy to split a pill. I'm not THAT concerned if it doesn't cut the pill exactly 50/50 but most of the time it works fine. The pill I split is very small falls all the way to the end, I would guess larger pills would work perfectly. I also like the holding compartment design.

I have a small dog that gets a small 1/4 pill every morning... almost impossible to cut in half... this cutter makes it easy to cut the pill into 1/4ths. So happy I purchased this!

I did not have good luck with this product. I was very careful to place the pills into the “v” slot snugly, but the pills did not split neatly for me. I tried splitting them quickly, slowly, softly, and then with more force. I had large pieces and crumbs every time. Sorry, too, because I had high hopes for this.

This lasted all of a month. We use it for one tiny pill every morning and it could stand up to the challenge. It broke apart slowly and is now useless. going back to using a knife and hoping I dont cut the tip of my finger off.
