To slightly echo what another reviewer said, this stuff is sort of like Fruit By The Foot, but tougher and with visible sugar granules coating the edible "strip". "Tough" was really what I was hoping for. This stuff definitely doesn't melt in your mouth, chewing is required. At first I was disappointed with the flavor, but realized i had only tried the Rainbow flavor, which seems bland to me. However, watermelon, strawberry and blueberry definitely had more flavor. So 75% of the flavors were great. The sugar granules coating the product are nowhere near overwhelming to the taste buds, nor was there any "burn" from the sour elements, unlike Cry Baby products (which I also love!). I was sort of hoping for the "sour patch kids" sugar coating, but this seemed unlikely since the very title of the product explicitly said "LIGHTLY SOUR", but nonetheless its still not bad. The "calorie-count/enjoyment-time ratio" by which I judge all candy products was fair. A total of 150 calories per roll, at the rate I ate it, wasn't too bad. Granted, while it IS candy after all, I remain a pretty thin mature woman (who is also a documented sugar addict) by not pushing my luck with excessive calorie candies. Another small detail, mostly for us ladies ... while the actual candy doesn't seem to really melt in a hazardous way due to heat, the sugar does leak out a little. Might want to use a plastic food bag for this stuff if storing in your purse. Probably best to keep sugar granules out of your phone's USB-C port :)

I got these for my kids easter baskets and they LOVED them all! So I'd call that a win! Great price,great product. I'd recommend these!
