We have an old farm house completely renovated. We put 2 of these lights on our new garage and I highly recommend them!! You get what you pay for. These are the real deal, nice heavy metal and authentic. They are a design feature that adds value to my home. They are also very functional. Both are located over doors and they both give off great light. My only suggestion is to make sure you get the right size for your space. Our garage is pretty large, 1 1/2 stories high and if I cheapened out and bought smaller lights they would have looked silly. The large lights gave a very finished look to our barn look garage!

I put 2 of these on the front of my 90 year old barn to replace a really ugly street light. They look great. A 100w equivalent LED globe is plenty bright, so I'm glad I didn't order bigger output globes. 60w equivalent might be enough in a lot of applications. The white enamel interior really reflects the light. The lights are very heavy, and connecting them to a standard electrical box mounted on the wall seemed inadequate. My electrician through-bolted them to the wood siding on the barn, and then put a conduit fitting through the wall and connected it to a box to the side. I suspect each installation will be different, but plan on some reinforcement, especially if they are outside in the wind and where they will accumulate some snow or ice. The instructions don't have any suggestions on the height to mount them. Mine are about 12 feet above the ground, and the two of them spread pretty even light all across the front of the barn, which is 32 feet wide. They could have been higher for wider light broadcast, or lower for less glare (you see the reflective inside of the cover at 12 feet, and it's bright). I'd suggest rigging it up with something temporary and trying a couple of heights to make sure you get the coverage you want as well as how it looks with the building design. They seem to be high quality, and I really like the look. I bought the 20" size, and that seems right given the size of the building. There is an ability to adjust the gooseneck by taking a 6" piece off if you want to shorten it. So it comes with some flexibility in the installation.

great quality and easy to install

this light is of amazing quality, I installed it outdoor above my shop door, it looks amazing, and is super robust, we get a moderate amount of snow here, and all the similar big box store lights are cheap and light feeling. I installed this onto 1.5 inch backer and I really feel like I could hang from it. I've seen it with around 18-20 inches of snow pilled on top and it doesn't sag at all. Whereas I feel like some of the cheaper lights would break under the weight. very happy I spent the extra money on this. Also the size was larger than most the cheaper ones which looks much better above my 16 foot wide shop door.It is very heavy though, that the only reason its a 3/5 on the install ease, really should have had a second hand to help with install. I'm guessing its around 20 pounds which doesn't sound like much until your 14 feet in the air on a ladder trying to get the thing mounted.

These look great installed on our Barndominium. The size is perfect and the installation was easy.

I’m a light fixture snob. I just love lights. I bought this one for my pole barn and wasn’t disappointed. The finish, the construction, all what you’d hope for a $200+ fixture. I was a little disappointed because the setscrew for the arm wouldn’t thread properly into the mounting flange, but other than that, it assembled easily and looks great.

I installed two of these lights. One of them in the first wind storm was no longer straight. I took it apart, and the threads were loose, and attempted to tighten them. The nipple of the extension to goose neck would not tighten. One piece was cut to loose. I emailed the company and explained what it needed to correct the issue. They sent me a whole new arm kit. They also sent it expedited shipping. Both were above and beyond my expectations.Thanks for the help.These light are more expensive than many I looked at, but they are definitely well built. They are built to last. Worth the money. I will spend more for made in USA anyway.If you get a light like this with the extension, I suggest using medium strength loc-tite on the threads between the goose neck and extension.

Beautiful, flawless, heavy (meaning its not paper thin). Will buy again, without hesitation, if the need arises.

The base is too small for the weight of the light. We had to make a base plate and attach it to the wall or it would not support the weight. Great after this!
