Swim SecureTow Float Orange - Safer Open Water Swimming High Viz

I bought this as the buckle on my old float was proving hard to undo with numb fingers. This one is similar, except the valves are of a far better design. It only takes a few seconds to inflate. We use them to swim in the tidal Thames, which keeps the Port of London Authority happy. We can be seen from at least a kilometre away.

I much prefer these to the doing ones which cause a lot more drag. I did a 2 x 10km swims with it and was great.

I use this in the Atlantic on the west of Ireland. It’s easy to inflate and hS good quality fittings.

It does not get in the way when you are swimming irrespective of your stroke. It makes me visible in the sea which is particularly useful when I am out of my depth and there are jet skis around. I can use it to hang on to if I need a buoyancy aid.
