About file types: I'm working with CS5, so if you have a different version, this info may or may not be the same for you. The files are EPS files, which can be opened in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (I have no idea about PS elements). If you open the files in AI, the cut lines, score lines, and glue markings of files I've looked at are in different layer groups. If you open them in PS, EPS files open as a single layer. If you want a PSD layered file, you can open them in AI, and export as a PSD file. Probably the one improvement would be to include PSD versions of the files in the download as so many people use PS or PS elements exclusively. Overall, I'm very happy with this book and the downloadable files. Will have lots of fun using these. Just looking through the book, I can imagine ways to change score lines or cut lines a bit on some of the templates, and get a custom container. Excellent book, files are EPS
Excellent book of packaging ideas. There were no problems using the included key to download the patterns. The electronic file numbers match the page numbers in the book, so it's easy to find the file you want. About file types: I'm working with CS5, so if you have a different version, this info may or may not be the same for you. Great Looking Book, missing the data files and the directions to obtain them isn't working correctly.
This book looks amazing, but I have had the same problem as some other folks. I bought it and I cannot find the pattern attachments anywhere. I followed the link and entered the ISBN number and nothing. I contacted customer service and they weren't able to locate the files. They said they will keep looking but for now, I may need a refund from Amazon. The patterns are the reason I bought this book and the reason why it costs so much. If I am paying 50$+ for an Ebook, I am hoping I would get the included files as the description states. I will update my stars if I am able to get the files.I have attached a screenshot of the conversation of me and the service rep stating she wasn't able to find the files. :(

Good reference

Great book, but looking for the downloadable digital patterns...
I have yet to find out where I can obtain the digital version of the pattern, I'm hoping this would be easily accessible. I followed the link from the book and entered the ISBN#, but it just gave me an error message.

Nicht schlecht das Buch
Habe mir das Buch wegen den Verpackungsideen gekauft. sind sehr viele schöne dabei mit perfekter Lösung. Aber leider funktioniert das runterladen der Dateien nicht. Anmeldenamen und Passwort werden nicht akzeptiert. Sehr enttäuscht. Wenn ich so viel Geld für ein Buch zahle möchte ich auch den ganzen umfang benutzen. Habe das Buch wegen den Dateien gekauft und nicht für die Bilder.
