Occlusion therapy, commonly called patching, is the treatment for an Amblyopic or ‘lazy’ eye. The patch is made from felt material that is soft, non toxic and safe to use next to the skin. The patch fits outside the glasses frame How does it work? By covering up the good eye you are encouraging your child’s brain to use the lazy eye and the vision should improve. You are in fact stimulating the brain cells corresponding to the lazy eye, this then causes the brain cells to develop and hence the vision should improve. Patching is a very successful form of treatment, but it is only successful as your child will allow – if they will not wear their patch then the vision will not improve. Thank you for looking.

Excellent product
My son has to wear a patch over his left eye 2 hrs a day, I had ran out of eye patches from the hospital, my error so went on amazon to purchase some when I came across this patch, my son loves spiderman so thought I would give it a go, wow, love it! He has 2 pairs of glasses, we keep the patch permanently on one pair so he can just them on for two hours after school them swap back to glasses without the patch, no more sticky around his eye & obviously, being spiderman, its a big hit with him.

My son likes this much more than the sticky type of eye patches. He wears this and doesn't mind so much so hopefully his bad eye improves. Will definitely buy more or these

Helpful but not best..
Not best product for kids who have grown up and smart enough to look from top or bottom while wearing this patch. We use it by putting tapes on top and bottom of my 8 years old Boy... Still better than sticky and painful patch..

Simple, but effective!
My 7 year old loves this and we no longer receive complaints about having to wear a patch, I would certainly recommend this to anyone.
