While I bought this for pest control, once I opened the bag I had to save more for myself. The taste is yummy & hot enough to satisfy even my heat mongers. Yes, I do use hot pepper in the garden. Not big on poisons.

This product is fine for my use. I bought it to make bags to deter mice from entering my home. (Hopefully) So far, none of us are sure whether it's the bags or the fact that the weather is nicer, but we haven't noticed any mice. So, for my purpose, this product is great! I have absolutely no idea how it tastes as I didn't purchase it to consume.

I'm not sure of quality yet, but it's more of a fine ground than coarse. I was hoping for actual chili flakes.
