From 1977 and 1978 come blues guitarist Buchanan's last albums for Polydor/Atlantic. After these recordings, Buchanan didn't go into a studio until 1988 when Alligator Records convinced him to start recording again. Buchanan's demons got him arrested in August 1988 and he was found hanged in jail, a sad end for a talented musician who was only 48 years of age. Musicians featured on these recordings include Steve Cropper, Donald "Duck" Dunn and Jan Hammer. Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with new notes.

Two albums to savour.
So good and not well known enough. An amazing talent.

77/78 the best Atlantic years of Roy!
Stanley Clark said that Roy is in his own class and nobody can disagree here. It is a rock/blues manifest of the late great Tele-man. He inspires players to become better artists to say the least. Both albums are must have for all the hard electric blues lovers. Some of the songs are real rock tunes!
