Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation, Lightweight and Buildable Full Coverage Foundation Makeup For Up To 30HR Wear, 102, 1 Count

I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! I have dry skin and always do my skin care routine prior to putting on my makeup. I have curated a routine that keeps me hydrated and plays well with ALL makeup. I have been wearing Haus Labs Triclone foundation for years, but my skin is fairer than it normally is (I live in the desert and am inside all Summer) and figured I'd try this foundation as opposed to trying to figure out my new shade in Haus Lab's 65 shade options (they have a VERY confusing skin tone format). I found 118 perfect for my light/neutral skin tone. This foundation is JUST AS GOOD as any foundation you can find in Sephora. I have tried SO many foundations, and this goes on smoothly, covers well, and like the Triclone, keeps a skin-like finish. I will say that it dries down quickly so there is not a lot of time for placement. Do not pump this on your face and blend section at a time (NOBODY should be pumping foundation on their face) because it dries fast. I pump two pumps it into my hand, dip my brush in and work section at a time, then repeat the process till my face is covered. This LASTS ALL DAY, doesn't budge once it's dried, and withstands sweat, the heat, and a full day of activities. I would say this reminds me of a combination of Triclone Foundation and Estee Lauder Double wear. The LUMI-MATTE finish is muah! CHEF'S KISS. Since I use a moisturizing skin care routine, oftentimes a luminous foundation can be too much glow for my taste. Then I have to powder more heavily than I like, then it's too matte and I need to use a hydrating setting spray and lumi blush. It's a vicious cycle. This dries and has a soft, illumination to it but it also dries to be a matte finish. How? IDK! I end up powdering ONLY where I use concealer and this gives me that perfect finish I am after. This NEVER ends up being too luminous for me. I think anyone can pull this foundation off, oily or dry. I think this would be AWESOME for oily skin people who want to wear a lumi foundation but can't without over-powdering the face. They probably need to make more shades of this line because as it stands, there aren't enough to cover every skin tone, and they need to. I predict that this, along with the Super Stay Skin Tint, will be a part of Maybelline's permanent collection. I used to use the Eraser foundation for years, but this is much better as it stays put ALL DAY LONG. I'm so glad I tried this as it has become my go-to foundation I wear everyday now. If you have dry skin, do not skip your moisturizing routine prior to wearing this as I could foresee it becoming patchy and dry looking. For oily skin people, I think a grippy primer like Elf Power Grip or Maybelline Grippy primer would work well under this. I have Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip and I haven't tried it with that yet, but I will and follow up with my results! Maybelline and L'oreal have been killing it lately! They keep this up and I won't ever have to step into a Sephora again!

Ok..i normally want to wait awhile for a product, not this one. I had worn Estee lauder double wear for 30 years. It wasn't my shade and it started showing my wrinkles and it just felt heavy and icky with no coverage. I'm in menopause and it just didn't look good anymore, I tried everything. Looked the same or worse. I also had three surgeries earlier this year. I have every skin disorder you could think of and I looked old with the Estee lauder. I was worried about this since I've never worn anything different. So I thought I would give it a try. Wasn't very worried. It was cheap. They asked what I was using and the shade. Sent and perfect shade. I have worn it since then. I normally give my skin a couple of weeks before I decide. This product went on my face so well. I haven't even noticed I even have it on. It covered all my skin problems. Can't see any of the train wrecks on my face, under my eyes with eye cream. Had a few too many injures on my face but I notice my face stuff, no one else does. I've worn it over 12 hours, only problem is I have oily skin so it started to get a little oily in my t zone first couple of weeks.. not nearly as bad as the old stuff. I've worn it for long time and after 12 hours it needed a little touch up, maybe. It didn’t. I'm getting a primer spray for my nose and a few other spots but after wearing it close to a month and did not need the primer. I don't what else to say except I love it. I was surprised it went on so well and was th perfect shade. Got too, one for summer and one for now. Felt like nothing at all. It feels so good to not have cake up on my face. The oily skin isn't nearly as bad as it would with old stuff. It doesn’t make me look my age, much younger. As I'm going through menopause ive been evaluating what works and what doesn't. I use a different concealer with it, not sure what it was. Ohh wet and wild? Don't remember the name but I dont need to use very much as my foundation covers everything. If you're on the fence, try it. I'm shocked I found a perfect new foundation, first try. Not wearing any other foundation ever again. And if i forgot to mention, it covered all my skin looking bad from rashes of eczema psoriasis and idk from my dermatologist. It says it can be buildable, don't need a primer. It hides it all, everything using the amount I am Thank you to whoever helped me decide. I'm sure it was an automated process but perfect! TRY IT. One thing I've noticed, dont be afraid to use more. The coverage gets better with more and still no dried out or cake.. I always thought the more applied and the cake up made my skin worse. I put more on my foundation brush and used more than usual od this. Omg. I love it. I had worn Estee lauder since I was 18, thirty years later I couldn't do it anymore. Estee lauder never had the choice to use more. It was way to heavy. I'm grateful for people looking at my face and eyes. People weren’t making fun or pointing it out and staring. Yes I did go to dermatologist several times because I didn't understand my skin problems and neither could she..very happy to have my skin back. I never had acne until 49

I have normal to dry skin so I prep my skin well my usual morning skincare and sunscreen, let it settle and then apply this with dense flathead brush. Less is more. It doesn't break up or do anything naughty, looks great all day and evening. It plays nicely with other cosmetics. I easily double cleanse it off at night. Best I've used in a long, long time.. and the price is great, too.

This is a super lightweight, buildable medium coverage foundation that's long-wearing with no touchups all day. I didn't go the full 30 hours (bc who actually can?) but was impressed that there is no coverage breakdown mid-day. I believe it's because it's a matte finish and not really luminous, so I think the name is a bit deceiving since I was hoping for a more glowy finish. I'm going to try with a luminizing primer to see if that helps. Color match is phenomenal! I took a gamble and ordered this online having never tried it before (I don't believe it's available in the USA) and the shade completely melts into my skin perfectly. I'm truly shocked at how exact the match is. For reference, I use Armani Luminous Silk in 4.5, Nars Light Reflecting in M1.2 Patagonia and Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter in Shade 4. Overall, I'm surprised and impressed at how good this formula is and prefer it much more than the Tir Tir silver glow cushion compact. I have very dry, mature asian skin (late 40s) that typically doesn't do well with matte formulas.

For the price, it truly outperforms high-end brands. My new go-to foundation!

I was very disappointed with this much anticipated Maybelline product since their products are one of my favourites. The product came open, the seal not intact. Because I'm based in Trinidad, it does not make sense for me to return. I was even more disappointed when I swatched the product and it's definitely worth buying, it's great and has a lovely finish, sadly I can't use it since it was not sealed. Not sure if will be reimbursed or replaced.

I have seen countless reviews of this foundation by MUAs, influencers, even Allure Magazine. Everybody says it is wonderful, a dupe for the Armani Luminous silk, that I don't own so I can't say if it is. I decided to buy it and so far I am very underwhelmed by it. I have combo skin. I am oily on my t-zone and I have to set all my foundations, even the matte ones because after a few hours I shine. That is not the case with this Maybelline one, and you would think that is a good thing but not really, because my skin looks very dry with this. I coudn't beleive it when I applied it and it dried super fast to a very matte finish. It looks like I am wearing a powder foundation. My skincare routine is on point, I do not have any dry patches and this foundation aged me. I didn't give up though and I tried it with very hydrating primers, luminous and glowy primers,and the result was not much different. It looks flat and dry. Then I tried mixing it with a glowy tinted moisturizer and the result was better but nowhere near what I expected. I am disappointed. I really wanted to like this foundation and I had high expectations. I will continue to use it mixed with moisturizer because I already spent the money and for everyday minimal makeup ocasions is good, but this is something I can't wear when I need to look my best. I am giving it 3 stars because the packaging is nice, the shade match was perfect, it is very thin, application is easy, it is indeed transfer proof, and I found a way to still use it mixed with other products, but I will not buy it again. I will update this review if I somehow find a way to use it by itself and get a good result.

I bought this to replace the Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 hr Full Coverage Foundation #201 Classic Beige which I've been using for years. I could no longer get it on Amazon, Walmart, eBay or any other seller due to the manufacturer's poor decision to discontinue it. It was the most popular, reasonably priced long wear indelible foundation on the market and in my opinion, the best. The shade 201 was also the most popular. Unfortunately Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte 30 hr Foundation is higher priced but the shade #129 is a very close match to my Rimmel shade. The consistency is very runny (which I don't like but will get used to), not creamy like the Rimmel. It goes on smooth, covers very well, is buildable, dries fast & feels lighter than Rimmel. It lasts as long as Rimmel.
