Good pen, heavy weight, nice finish. Will take Pentel energel refills. 10/10 for keeping it simple, build quality, and low cost. The heavy weight helps with hand cramps when writing long permits at work.

Excellent, well constructed pen. Love the way it feels in my hand. Passes through TSA unlike my tactical pens, but still feels versatile, useful given its heft and quality construction.

This is a great pen. It is very well made and heavyweight. It also takes my Sharpie S-Gel refills.

Beware, if you wear a thick uniform shirt (LEO, Security, EMS/T) the pen clip will fail due to prolonged tension or stress. Craftsmanship is amazing, weight can be a downfall, however. The weight combined with the ease of the ballpoint tip and gel makes this pen write like a dream. Very smooth!

This pen is SOLID! I love a heavy pen though. I know lots of people like light weight pens but this one weighs, probably, twice what a regular pen weighs. To me….. weight equals quality. I hope it does anyway. One thing I would change… I wish it wasn’t a gel pen. I like ballpoint pens better than gel pens. I guess I’ll just try to find ballpoint refills. Anyway…. I think it’s safe to recommend this pen. It’s solid and fun to write with.

This is great pen, writes smoothly and the weight of the pen feels good. Comes with extra cartridges.

Other than the weight which makes this pen awkward to write with, the pens themselves appear to be nicely machined and take commonly available gel refills.

Update 2: I figured out why they didn’t work with Pentel Energel at first. They only work with the 0.4 and smaller. 0.5 & 0.7 do NOT work on this pen or any like it. Disappointing, I love the 0.5 most of all. I’ll keep searching for a cool metal pen to fit the 0.5 refills.Update: I tried the Pentel Energel refills again and all of a sudden it works. I use the Clena pink and blue and those fit in there perfectly. I changed my rating to 5 stars coz the pen looks great and works perfectly. I have no issues with it. I’m going to order the black one now too. They are so cute and easy to use.This is a really nice looking pen. It is heavier on top which isn’t too bad but it is too loose in my pen holder on my planner but does not fall out. The reason I give it such low stars is because it does NOT fit the Pentel Energel refills. I specifically bought it for the Pentel refills. I do not like writing with other pen tips. When I put the Pentel refill in the pen it would not click out of the pen body. It was just stuck. I checked both the refill it came with and the one I wanted to use and they are the same size so I have no idea why it won’t work. I’ll check again to make sure and change my rating if it works. There is basically no metal pens that work with Pentel Enrgels that are not extremely expensive or require a modification to the refill.
