Excellent do-everything knife
I got this as a gift for my mom because she never really got used to the regular 8-inch chef knife I got her before. The handle feels fantastic, and it's the same steel used in other Victorinox blades. I still prefer a taller chef's knife, but this is great if that's not your thing, and it's very nice looking if you store your knives out on a magnetic holder or something.

Cut steaks like cotton
It's not easy to find steak knives that aren't serrated. Thank goodness I found these. The blade is so thin and sharp, it cuts 1.5" thick steak like cotton. The handle is very fancy as well. The whole knife is lightweight.

Great knife!
Beautiful knife and razor sharp out of the box.The wood feels unfinished but actually withstands water well and makes it grippy

Best kitchen knife.
This was a Christmas gift for my fiancé. I probably use it more in the kitchen than he does. Basically my go-to knife for all things.

Easy to hold, beautiful design, questioning quality
It's a beautiful design and it's easy to hold, but it almost feels like the blade is too thin because when I chop and hit the wood cutting board it almost feels like there is a slipping action. This has happened multiple times to the point where I wonder if the blade is going to break. The wood is really pretty, but it's not as smooth/sanded as I would have though and one has to be very careful to not leave it in water because I could imagine the wood getting warped.I bought this knife and the chefs knife. Both are very sharp and the wood handles are so much more modern than ugly black plastic and metal ones.

broke after 10 months of normal usage
They are sharp, but are very poorly designed. The handle broke to pieces after a few months of very non-intensive usage (once every other week). I'm now thinking it might be fake. I definitely expected more from Victorinox and at this price range.
