UltraOptix UltraDome Magnifier 3 in. 4X magnifier

This is the BEST magnifier to be found! I have had one a long time after seeing one at a friend's home. My granddaughter was playing with mine and said, "You need to give my daddy one of these for Christmas". I was thrilled for a gift idea for a son-in-law who has everything. I bought three so I could give them to other family members as Christmas gifts. I have heard that they are being used and are greatly appreciated. One son-in-law has to read blue prints in his business. His is on the table in his business where several employees share it with him. They are really excited over it. And it really does draw and magnify the light!

I ordered the UltraOptix UltraDome Magnifier on Nov. 21st. It was a birthday present for my boss and she really loved it as her eyesight isn't what it used to be and it really helps reading small print. I paid $12.08 for 2 day shipping as her big day was very close and I had not been able to find one locally. Unfortunately it arrived on Nov. 25th, the day AFTER her big day! I had to give her a card and an explanation. The delay was no fault of the seller, the item was mailed promptly but the postal service just isn't reliable these days ... sad.

I've had the smaller version of this for years and absolutely love it. I lost my old one so bought the bigger replacement. The magnification is great and the way it gathers light onto the subject is amazing and wonderful. I took off 2 stars because in came out of the box rather scratched up. And its clear that the scratching was done by the original packaging because there is a ring of scratch marks where the cardboard touches the lens and more right at the top of the bubble where it bumps the plastic packaging.

I chose a dome magnifier from Ultra Optix simply from the way it was presented. The quality and value were also factors. I ordered it and it arrived as promised. It is so nice I have decided to use it as a Christmas gift. As soon as I had unwrapped it I checked it out, and I was very happy with my new magnifier. The packaging was excellent. If you're interested in a dome magnifier, this one should not be overlooked.

I did not expect this to perform so well over a magnifying glass, but it is the best product to view small text. Just the right size and the light gathering aspect makes this a great product. Highly recommend.

I have this magnifying dome in the smaller version. I bought this larger version for Christmas for my boyfriend. Upon seeing how nice this larger version is, I bought the larger one for myself! A must have for anyone with aging eyes.

Works as expected. We bought 4 and they are all clear and the felt bag is nice.Now we can all use 11x17 drawings and save on paper.

This has been such a wonderful tool, when something is just a little too small to see clearly (is that a bug or lint?). Plus my kids are having a blast with magnifying things as well.
