Based on the pictures, I expected the robe to be soft, thick, and fluffy. Unfortunately, I was sadly mistaken. Although the robe was indeed soft, it was not at all thick or fluffy. The robe was very thin. Kind of felt like a cardigan, rather than a robe. Not a fan.

It is medium thickness and decently warm. Much higher quality than I expected for the price. It’s the type of velvet that is soft no matter what direction you rub your hand. I got it to wear in the hospital for child birth. Very happy with it. It’s big and lose on me but that’s what I wanted.
