Steelbird SBA-1 Beast Matt White with Red with Plain Visor,580mm

Hi all,I am writing this review after using this for almost a month and I have now lost the ability to return to amazon too. The helmet looks good and feels good too. But while ordering, make sure you add around 5 cms more to your fitting size as per measurement!5cms has to be added.I bought the right size of what my head is and now it causes discomfort. I thought it would losen after usage for some days but I realised it does not. May be it becomes around 1cm lose but the difference of 5 cms seriously causes concerns. We can not wear this for long period of time. Maximum time I was able to sustain was around 45 minutes.Quality and look wise this helmet provides value for money but I seriously suggest buyers to atleast add 5cms to head size and then buy the helmet.Or if you cannot decide the helmet, visit a retail store and buy it. Because I figured that this helmet also retails at the same price online store.I would usually give 5 stars to most products I buy but this product has made me give 4 star because of size issue. The helmet says 58Cm but other helmets I have which say 58Cm fit me properly without any discomfort.Thanks for reading. If you found this helpful please click on it.

One of the safest helmets designed to be used on Indian roads. It is strong built and is sturdy enough to protect you from fall. The thermocol padding is thick enough and cushioning inside is of good quality and supportive at high speeds(doesn't make the helmet vibrate or shake at high speeds). The visor area is quite large and the visibility on either sides is good. The air vents come as a bonus, the front one gives you air for respiration as well as keeps the visor clean(helps prevent fogging,in rainy days or in cold weather) while the one on top keeps your head cool and is actually quite useful when you are stuck in traffic. You don't feel suffocated due to this design,though you might feel so if you are a new user. The vents can be closed when not required. The paint quality is good, comes with clear coat to protect the vinly stickers and the Steelbird branding. The packaging was good though the delivery time is hampered due to longer route opted by amazon, the shipment takes an additional day to get delivered.

Pros:1. Great graphics.2. Light weight. 1200+/-50 gm.3. Good ventilation.4. Detachable cushion.5. Wide range of color combinations.Cons:1. Glossy finish. A smaller scratch is enough to spoil the whole graphics.2. Very light cushion on locking straps. Causes etching during long use.2. No dual viser.3. Could have included reflecting stickers in the graphics.

Awsome helmet. Wonderful design. Best helmet in this budget. Saved me from seveir injuries multiple times. The visor gets hazy after some use. Dont! Detach! The padding! Coz if you do it will never fit like before.it does suffer from scratches but it doesnt look ugly to me. Rain is your enemy. It damps the padding and starts to smell like any other helmet. The rating is for the product not for amazon. I didn't get the matt finish even in steelbird website. Got the matt in different color. Returned the product with difficulty. Had to purchase it from steelbird website. Had to settle for gloss finish. Its serving me well

Hii guysProduct is very good.Built quality very good.Tough.I checked it by throwing it from 1 floor it's very tough n very good.Any Rider is using BT-S2 the mic can be set very well.Otherwise Helmet is very good and awesome.But guys as said in description the helmet is not matte it's a glossy white and black grey helmetDon't rely upon the name given in description.

i have received it with broken piece but i have accepted it as i received cause i dont wanted to waste the time , but if product is good , if you use it for long ride then its weight can cause for neck pain , still i like this product.

Helmet design gud but no protection for chin and very light weight (for 1 reason it's useless)
