Passed the #57 gravel test.
Bought the 700x37c and converted my wife's Trek FX4 tubeless ready wheels with the WTB's. She reports an outstanding improvement in ride and handling. We attempted a short gravel ride with her OEM bontreger tube type tires and she walked the bike several times to finnish. With the WTB's we did two 40 mile rides in 2 days on the North Bend trail in WV and she flouted over the #57 with confidence that was lacking with the tube type. I have 2 gravel bikes with Pirelli's that were hard to seat up and are less than perfectly round, while on the other hand the WTB's mounted smoothly and are very concentric. Will probably try the 40mm on my Check Point next!

AWESOME TIRES!
LOVE THESE TIRES!My Cannondale Gravel Bike came with these. I picked up a huge screw 2 weeks after purchase, so I ordered a new rear tire. I converted to tubeless. No flats or issues since. I've got well over 1200 miles, and still going. I'm ordering a new set because they are starting to show some wear in the center, especially the rear tire. I ride mainly paved trails, and some packed gravel. These tires have been great, so I'm sticking with them. I like gum sidewall look too.

Great Tire for the Price!
The 45c Riddler is an awesome gravel adventure tire. Bought a pair to ride the Oregon Outback this summer, which includes some long stretches where a 29x2.3 would have come in handy. In these sections, fully loaded, the Riddler held up. It hooked up well on dirt and gravel descents, provided a fairly cushy ride (running tubeless 35 psi front, 40 rear), and was fast on the paved sections of the ride, where it never felt like I was fighting to keep the knobs rolling. Only got one flat in 405 miles of rough country roads, and that was more the sealant's fault than the tire's (do NOT buy Finish Line's water-based sealant, it does not work. Stick with Stan's or a similar latex-based sealant). On the very last day of the trip, I noticed a lump in the back tire when on pavement, but once we got back to gravel, it went away so I finished out the ride. The next day, the entire rear tire was covered in blisters where the tread had separated from the casing and filled with air and sealant. The tire was still intact and, incredibly, still rideable (to my LBS where I replaced it short-term with a 40c WTB Nano, also an excellent tire). A few notes on this ultimate tire failure: I had been riding the pair of Riddler's for a couple of months before the long tour, so they weren't brand new at this point. Also, the Outback is a legitimately rugged ride and I was fully loaded, so I beat up the tires pretty good over the course of five days. Lastly, I emailed WTB about the failure and they had a replacement tire in the mail the very next day, so I'm still rolling on Riddlers and was pleased with their quick response and stellar customer service (tip: when contacting customer service in ANY industry, don't be a dick. Tell them what you like about their products, explain the problem you are experiencing and ASK them to help you out. This has resulted in pleasant experiences for me 100% of the time.)A few more notes while I'm at it: Mounted on 19mm internal width rims (WTB Strykers), the tires measure 44mm shoulder to shoulder. Make sure you've got enough clearance, as mine is really tight and in muddy conditions I get a bit of frame rub on the inside of my chainstays. No hope of getting fenders on with these tires, but maybe your bike has more clearance? Lastly, for a sub-$60 tire, the Riddler is really a great deal. They are grippy, fast-rolling, provide nice cushion (I cannot bring myself to use the s_pple-word because it's gross), they set up easily and they look boss.Four stars taking into account the casing breach, but five stars for WTB customer service and the performance of the tire otherwise.

Leakers
They set up and roll as advertised. But they leak air even with more sealant then usual they leak down and need to be pumped at least every other day. In the last twelve thousand miles I've had three flats on differing types of tubeless tires on the WTB Riddler 37 I had two flats within the first 30 miles. Both of which I'm pretty sure are for manufacturing defects. if you want something that'll hold up and you don't have to worry about flats my suggestion would be bontrager AWS or schwalbe g ones

Gravel bike tires
Very happy with these tires I have used WTB tires and seats in the past and have always been happy with them made the first ride on them took some steep hills. Dirt roads, gravel roads worked well.

Great tire!
Purchased for use on my Topstone 2. It came with 700x37c riddlers (tan sidewall). I have looser gravel in my area and like to load the bike up pretty heavy. Because of this the 37's were digging in more than I liked. I went ahead and got these 700x45c tires (black sidewall). They work great! They didn't seem to effect my rolling resistance. Can still keep same pace as the 37's on my routes. (16 - 18mph). They don't dig in nearly as much and can handle single track really well. Love the black sidewalls as well! For reference, I do use tubes. Run tire pressure between 32 psi and 50 psi depending on my route.

Excellent for gravel bike!
Upgraded from a 700x38cc to this 700x45cc and the difference is amazing! The ride quality is so much more comfortable and the traction is great!

Great all around gravel tire
This is the second set of Riddlers I’ve had. They have great off road feel and cornering traction, which is the true test of gravel tires. They also have great on road and hard surface rolling efficiency. Good all around tire.

Tubeless confort coming from 700x30c wire beads, is incredibly good
Went from a 700x30 wire bead to this tubeless 700x37 on a rigid bike. Went from ru ning close to 100 psi down to about 40. Un-be-liveable difference in confort over bad roads, vibration is almost completely out. Barely any vibration on gravel, the grip is phenomenal too ! I had mine mounted professionally, and I barely used them a day, so time will tell if they hold up air correctly.
