These clamps work good using them with the pipes I bought on Amazon

I bought 3/4" -4 ft black pipe, heavy duty and stores easy. I will purchase more soon.

I did get a replacement in a quick manner. Originally three of the four were as expected and worked fine. One of them had a manufacturing defect. The pivot base for the jack screw was drilled at askew, so the holding pin does not hold and the clamping action is not flat with the other jaw. I requested a replacement and received it. Thanks

While the clamps are sturdy enough the problem lies with the moveable end. The lock in place bar has several plates you pull forward to unlock so the clamp spacing can be adjusted. These plates fit into a groove on the bottom of the clamp but the groove is not deep enough to keep the plates in alignment when you release the plates after the space adjustment. This allows the moveable clamp to move when you twist the fixed end of the clamp. It is not difficult to get the plates back into the groove but why should you have to do so. A small change in design would give this clamp a 5 star rating. The less aggravation I have the better my day

All ready use my product, and filled all my expectations. Highly recommended.

I bought 12 of these, three packs of four. I have used eight so far. I bought the pipes from Home Depot. They end up being pretty heavy, at least at 48" length, but they are also strong. I have used them for clamping a variety of woodwork and they hold solidly.
