I am a photographer and I purchased this for the purpose of photo shoots. I often get these smaller sofas for photo shoots but I am at times surprised by how different the actual sofa look from their product photos. And usually it is too cumbersome to return them. I spent more than I usually do on this one but I thought that if it looked as good as it looks in its product pictures then it would be worth it. All the positive user reviews helped sway me to "buy it now" Wow! This is every bit as beautiful in person as it is here in its product shots. I've added a couple of photos of my own so you can see it in action. Lush and velvety for sure. And it is a good velvet, not the kind that shows flaws from the outset. The button tufts seem secure which is always a question with this sort of upholstery. And the riveted studs are well in and not showing signed of coming off. Keep in mind I've owned this for 3 weeks and used it in 2 photo shoots. Because it is for photo shoots and not every day seating, I can't speak to how well it will hold up. It seems sturdy but probably not sturdy enough to have kids jumping on it. It is comfortable enough for what it is but it shouldn't be expected to me a lounging cuddly sofa. That was never its intention. Definitely a repro piece designed to give you that decorator touch. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it here. Then it was just a matter of which color to go with. I was torn between purple, green and grey. Assembly was a breeze. It took me working by myself maybe 15 minutes to get the legs on and then I just popped this right side up and we were good to go. BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for a lush accent piece to complement your home, I think this would do quite well. I am all about mixing styles and periods. Eclectic wonderful furniture that plays well together. I think this piece would do really well in myriad settings.

This is listed as a loveseat & I guess it could be a loveseat for 2 small people. But I feel like it's more of an oversized chair, it's definitely on the petite side, which I was expecting from the dimensions listed. The color is exactly as pictured: a deep dark purple, & the velvet material is so soft. I can't say how durable it is since I've only had it a week. I'm redecorating a spare bedroom to be my home office, & only I will sit in it, so it doesn't need to be heavy duty. But if you're looking for something that will withstand high traffic or kids, this might not be the one for you. It was super easy to assemble: all you do is screw on the legs (legs are shipped inside a zippered pocket on the underside of the loveseat). It's lightweight enough that we had no trouble carrying it upstairs. I think it looks fabulous & accessorized it with teal velvet pillows and a teal velvet ottoman also from Christopher Knight Home. The hardest part of this purchase was trying to decide which color to buy.

beautiful, exactly what i hoped it would be-- a little place to sit in the corner of my bedroom. it IS small, so it's only going to ever be comfortable-ish. also, it is pretty slippery but like, it's velvet so no surprise there. and it IS super lightweight, so it does feel like it should have cost like $100 less. that being said... it makes a statement, which is something kinda hard to find without paying out the nose. either way, it arrived in perfect condition, with no weird smells, and was super easy to put together. i think it might be my most prized possession.

Love, love it! The color is a gorgeous dark purple! Goes great with the bedding I also purchased on Amazon. The velvet material is soft and so pretty. The little settee couch was easy to put together. You just have to attach the legs. It is not heavy and easy to move. The seat is firm but I like firm and it will last a long time to come. Great little couch to relax and read a book.

Very small but knew that and chose to fit in the morning room. However, it is lacking in “cushh” so not very comfy for sitting very long. The color is great and the material is very soft. This really isn’t a two adult piece of furniture, but works great for an adult and child or pet. It works for us and we are happy with the purchase.

So let me start off by saying that the seller lies about the dimensions and weight of the package, I'm assuming to have to pay less on shipping. Because of this, UPS held onto the package for an extra FOUR DAYS before delivering it. The couch itself is beautiful, but super flimsy. It's just for show, not for actually sitting in it. I'm 130 lbs, and leaning against the back made things start to crack inside. If you can wait an extra week and are only using the couch as a decoration, go for it. If not, ehhhh.... The massive delay in receiving it was incredibly inconvenient for me, because I had a photoshoot dependent on this couch and had to reschedule TWICE because of it. So it cost me even more money than the $400 it's listed for.

I got two of these to go on opposite sides of room. Comfortable and easy to put together. Two people can sit on this. It is also great if you have POTS. Lie down with head on one side and feet and legs on the other side on armrest. Since armrest is hight it's the perfect height to help if you have pooling blood in your feet.

I bought this for my living room, I have a small home. It is absolutely stunning. A little on the firm side but nothing a couple throw pillows didn't fix. Not quite as deep as i needed to curl up and read so I use a foot stool. The material is so soft. And it Feels very sturdy. It is light so I put a rug under it to prevent sliding. Me and my two rambunctious grandchildren fit comfortably. Definitely adds an air of luxury.
