Top Tier Knife
This is an amazing knife. Very high quality, perfectly balanced, keeps it edge and is a workhorse. Can use for any task without fatigue - the knife does the work for you. Always only clean by hand and dry immediately to avoid rust spots or discoloring. Easy to sharpen as well if you also get the Wusthof knife sharpener. Works best with use of a honing stone to keep that edge sharp and in perfect working order. While these are expensive, they will last a LIFETIME with proper care and it will easily become the go-to knife for most prep tasks in the kitchen

Sharp & Attractive - just like me :)
High quality, renowned chefs knife. I see why it is beloved by millions of cooks; it just feels nice to use and works very well. Excellent materials and craftsmanship. It came out of the box razor sharp. It will cut through carrots and onions like butter. Feels well balanced, has good size and heft and is very versatile. I use this all day and it cleans easily with just a little soap and water. I have the 8" and now I want the 6" version as well.

Very sharp and good handling
This is not a cheap knife and there is a difference. It arrives very sharp and I can get it almost as sharp using a whetstone. The steel is a little softer than cheap knives but that allows it to get so sharp again. We use it almost daily and it needs another sharpening about once a month or so to return it to top form. It's not difficult or time consuming and makes a huge difference. You won't regret getting this kitchen knife if you cook a lot.

Exceptional Quality and Precision!
I am absolutely thrilled with my 8-inch Wüsthof Chef's Knife! From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell this was a high-quality tool. The knife is incredibly sharp and cuts through everything with ease—whether I'm chopping vegetables, slicing meat, or dicing herbs, it performs flawlessly every time. The blade holds its sharpness well and makes food prep so much quicker and more precise. The handle is comfortable and ergonomically designed, making it easy to grip, even during extended use. It’s well-balanced, which contributes to a smooth and effortless cutting experience. I’ve used other knives in the past, but nothing compares to the performance and sharpness of this Wüsthof. If you're looking for a reliable, sharp, and durable chef's knife that will make your kitchen tasks easier, this is the one to get. Worth every penny! Highly recommend!

A great little utility French knife!
I love this smaller French knife. Great for processing vegetables and other smaller kitchen jobs. It’s so easy to handle and the craftsmanship is second to none. And it comes sharp. It bit me the first time I used it.

Love this knife!
I married into this knife 25 years ago, and she had it 10 years before that...and it's still my go to knife every day. The 6" is so easy to maneuver for slicing, dicing, chopping, etc. I only go to the 8" chef's knife for the occasional larger item. We've sharpened it only twice in all these years and it comes back super sharp and stays that way for a long time. Make sure you get this one, which is forged, and not the "Goumet" line, which is stamped; ten years from now you'll forget the price difference but still be enjoying the superior cutting.

Used? Maybe. Still a very good knife!
So I had to clean it.... Not sure why and that kind of was not cool, but things happen. It wasn't food dirt, not sure what it was. No matter. Decent packaging and it has a sharp edge, looked not clean but felt good in hand, does a great job. If you know the brand you'll know it's a very good price. Invest in a good knife and you'll never have to invest again!
