Pros- seem to decent quality stainless steel- sharp enough- simple to use give it's just a basic block and sharpenerCons- not the sharpest knives I've had- no instructions if you don't know how to use the sharpenerSo this set is a reasonably decent set overall. It seems to be a reasonable quality stainless steel. However, longer term use will find this out. Sometimes I leave stuff in the sink over night and this can often bring up any lesser steel fairly quickly, so I'll update if anything changes for the worse.Other than that, they are sharp. But they're not the sharpest. The blade edges are actually pretty well done. At least on the set I received. Which can't be said for every set I've reviewed.It's a basic block, nothing fancy or special. So hopefully this is indicative of where the moneys actually went here. On good metal! Obviously longer use will determine how good it is but I think for now I'm comfortable giving this set a 4.1. For the budget range they're in, there's decent competition but I think these could fair quite well in side by side testing.The main issue here is that I think if anyone is trying to step up from lesser knife block sets and haven't used a sharpener before, then they might use this incorrectly. So I would advise people to do a bit of research to get the best results. They can go wrong pretty quickly and you end up reshaping the blade. I personally prefer using a diamond slab and them leather to polish up the edge but it's a much longer process but it gives me better control.I think it's above some others in the price bracket, but I also think there's better options if you want the absolute best. They're a decent set though! I can't take that away from them.

The knives appear to be made out of a single piece of stainless steel, while the description talks about double-rivetted, there isn't a rivet in sight. I was very confused when I first picked up one of these knives (the Chef's knife) because it was incredibly light - I thought perhaps it was aluminium which would be ridiculous, however I think that basically the handle is hollow.Now personally I don't like this at all, I prefer a little weight to my knife, I also find the handle which is smooth metal, to be very slippery as there's no grip.The description also states that they are forged. This is not true as evidenced by the hollow handle.The knives are quite sharp at present although I don't know how long that will last.The knife holder is quite nice - not too big so it doesn't take up a lot of worktop space, and it holds a knife sharpener too - this is fitted onto a plastic mount on the side of the block so you can slide it off for use. I'd probably have preferred it if the sharpener was just completely separate as it looks a bit odd with it stuck on the side.Overall though, I can't recommend these knives - definitely don't feel like a premium set at all.

They balance well in the hand and slice through meats, breads, veggies and fish easily.They also come with five year guarantee but will last much longer than that.A great product that is high quality from a new brand is never heard of before.Recommended and five stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
