Would like to give less then 1 star if I could. Obviously if your looking to buy an aluminum 6.7 Cummins diesel fuel filter cap its because the poor quality of the "plastic" OEM cap. Well in my case that is what happened, the plastic nut wore out, truck was down, ordered this aluminum cap and well...it would NOT thread onto the fuel filter body. After lots of tries and some closer inspection of the aluminum cap, it has no beginning thread! It's just continues thread with no "opening thread". Would never work. Look at your OEM and any other aluminum cap and you'll see that there is a "beginning thread". Needless to say my truck is still down (6 days now) and will still be down another 4 days until my new aluminum cap arrives that I ordered from another company.

Will not screw in for Ram 2500 2016 Just kept popping off not

Perfect size for my 2018 RAM 3500, made out of great and quality material. The top of it take the same size tool as the factory part. Only issue, it wouldn’t thread and kept cross threading with the factory fuel filter housing. Great idea and product just a poor finish.

Exactly what I wanted. Save your self stress and hassle of dealing with the crap plastic oem . Stock plastic cap . Go with this one . It will turn off every time and not strip out .

Will not thread onto housing due to incorrect threads. 2015 ram 2500 don’t waste your money

Tried a number of times but would not thread onto the housing. I like the idea of replacing plastic with Aluminum but this is not the one. Will buy several of the original caps instead.

This cap came with casting slag in the threads. I was able to remove them, but the cap won’t finish threading. About halfway to being seated, the cap pops off. Could not get it to seat and seal.
