The waist is a little tight otherwise pants are great.

Comfortable and useful
The pants are very comfortable and perfect for field work. The many pockets are useful, they are thick enough to help prevent some briar pokes, but not to thick to be hot. I bought two more pairs!

Loose Fit HUGE compared with Original Fit
The product description for Carhartt Women's Rugged Flex Loose Fit Canvas Work Pant says, "Loose Fit, previously known as Original Fit, is a label update in name only. Loose and Original size and fit remains the same."Not so! I love my size 6 Original fit (tan) so I bought a size 6 Loose (black; I also measured myself first).See the tan photo: fitted but not tight or loose. Compare the black photo: yes, that is my entire arm stuffed down the leg hole (along with my leg) up to my elbow. :/Love Carhartt quality, so I ordered the size 4 (I am 5'7", fluctuate 130-135#, usually wear an 8 in pants).Edit: Just got the size 4 (4! I usually wear an 8), and it fits me! Upgraded my rating.So, despite the manufacturer claim that the new "Loose Fit" fit "remains the same" as the "Original Fit", know that (for me), a size 4 "Loose" fits like the size 6 (Fall, prior to COVID) "Original."

They’re tight in the waist & too long in the length, they’re supposed to be straight leg and I got bootcut.

Great pants I wear them for work, they are holding up great no fading of the black color.

These are a very relaxed fit
Whoa these are very roomy. I ordered my regular carhartt size and if I didn't wear a belt - I could pull these off without undoing the button. If you want extra room in the waist and thighs - this is the pant for you. If you want a more fitted pant - maybe try a different style.The quality seems good and because they don't have a smaller size available- I'll keep these and just wear them when it's cold out with leggings underneath. It's hard to find pants with a long inseam and so even though these aren't great - beggers can't be choosers in the woman's work pants category.
