Bad redesign
This is the only product of its kind on the market, ideal for people that want a non-constricting pair of underwear without any elastic and with 100% cotton. For years, the women's boxer short (with drawstring) was reliable and essential for people with allergies before the redesign. The semi-detached crotch panel allowed pad wings to meet without going down the legs of the boxer and around. The seams in the middle were not bulky. However, there are several flaws with the redesign that's now being sold:1. The sewn-on crotch panel is not feasible for menstrual care. It does not allow the pad wings to meet without going outside the leg of the boxer short--which would be highly uncomfortable and impractical.2. The sewn-on crotch panel is heavy and bulky. Even the model's pictures (scrolling down) show how it sticks out. What woman wants to waddle around with a bulge sticking out like that, either for comfort or appearance?3. The size appears larger than before, which makes the underwear bulkier and more impractical. Please, please bring back the old design.

Great for latex allergies
Construction is all cloth, with a drawstring at the waist as shown. I have latex allergies, severe enough now that elastic covered in cloth sometimes bothers me. The drawstring waist takes a bit of getting used to, but you don't actually need to untie them each time to get on and off, or ever for that matter. If you wear pants, the pants will keep these in place. The drawstring is a bit short but could easily be replaced--connect a longer drawstring by a large safety pin, and draw the new one through as you pull the old one out.

They are heaven!
These boxer shorts are soft and so comfortable, that the high price is almost forgiven. If you have allergies to spandex, elastic, and lycra or synthetic materials that most underwear available for women is made of, then I recommend these. They get softer with wash, I had another type of Cottonique underwear without elastic, and eventually they get stretched (I had my last ones for 1 1/2 years, so I am replacing them with these. I love them.

very nice cotton
love these. they work more like shorts. not going to be slim or fitted under pants. But I love them for summer loose dresses. supper comfy and will keep you cool.

Fit is weird, drawstring doesn't work well
These come up much higher in the front than they do in the back, making for an awkward fit - I find myself rolling the front down to make it even with the back. I realize this poor fit could be related to my shape, but I don't really have this problem with other underwear. In fact, I love the Cottonique hi-cut panty and gave that a 5-star rating -- but I definitely won't buy these boxers again.

I am allergic to latex and these are wonderful. I sleep in these to give my body a break from any contact with latex in my day clothes.

I like them but......
I like these organic undies but they fit a bit baggy on my 33 inch hips, 25 inch waist. Make a size 4 please. Other than that--I love them.I would like to see a slim fit, figure flattering knee length to that I can wear as yoga or shorts --that would be awesome!

Good for latex allergy sufferers
I have to wear a post-surgical corset but am highly allergic to latex. Even supposedly latex-free stretchy fabrics will break me out. I wear these to protect my skin from the bottom half of the corset and they do a fine job. My advice is that if you are unsure about the size, order your larger choice because these are cotton and you can soak them in very hot water to shrink them a bit, or take a seam up each side to take them in as you need.Update: I've had these boxer briefs for five months now and I don't think I'll be ordering more. I do appreciate that they don't have latex but that drawstring is too short and it's not easy to get untied when you are in a hurry to get. to. the. loo. FAST. Also, after five months' worth of washing, the shorts are floppy and stretched out and sort of bunch up under my jeans. Cottonique also makes a non-elastic elastic waist pair of boxers like this that I like much better and, even as highly allergic to latex as I am, they do not bother me at all. But here's the clincher as to why I won't reorder these...they are too dadgum expensive. I mean, c'mon, $50 for a pair of plain cotton undies? Seriously, no. It would take me about 40 min to cut out and seam up that little amount of material. (Hey...wait...good idea...)
