Schrade SCPEN6BR Survival Tactical Pen, Brown

This is a great pen. I like it so much, I bought three more as gifts as they are a great price from Outdoor Merchants. Initially, I bought the pen basically because it is tactical but it turns out to write surprisingly well. The ink cartridge is easily replaceable. The pen casing is substantial and makes writing easier. It screws together for safety and also screws into the writing position which makes it a better writing instrument. The color is great and it was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I will buy from this seller, no question.

I've been trying the different models that allow for the cap to be screwed on both ends. This one was a little bit cheaper than the Smith and Wesson, it's also lighter and feels better in the hand. The S&W is nice, and I could do without the whistle on this one, but if I had to pick, I'd go with this one.

Nice heft to it, well built, I like the threaded cap storage when using the pen side (keeps the cap from getting lost) But the whole thing has a serious design flaw! The ink-side cap thread has a nice rubber grommet on it to presumably seal and keep the pen dry when capped, BUT the whistle hole leaves the other end of that same cap open to the elements! Really? Who designed that? Water and gunk can get in through the whistle hole and gunk up the pen, EVEN WHEN CAPPED!

It's damaged when i use first time.

It's a good pen and it writes well. And the whistle is loud. But the pocket clip is stiff and it tears up your pocket

It writes even time I put pen to paper. This does not happen all of the time for a foutain pen. The quality is excellent

This is truly a tactical pen for the executive. It is light, unlike another that I had previously us. Beautiful manufacture, Parker-style refill

this pen has a good feel. It writes well. all that I was asking for in a pen
