Great little solid state hard drive that for the money is hard to beat is small and well designed great space and quick to transfer data as long as the saved data doesn't corrupt or anything I only have good things to say, I have already recommended to family and friends!

Tiny and light but feels solid enough. Transfer speeds are quite good. My only gripe really is that provided cable came faulty out of the box. I have connected device to my phone and it has unmount immediately. I have restarted my phone and tried again - same thing. At this point I was convinced that device itself was faulty but I have tried it with another USB C cable and it works like charm. Shame because provided cable is (or should be) serving as both C to C and B to C. I will have to carry two different cables on me to be able to connect it to laptop and phone.

I wanted a smaller lighter to carry around hard drive to back-up my iPad mini A17 Pro as I can now plug hard dives straight to the iPad mini without having to go through a computer first, the A17 being the only model I’ve had that can do this! My other hard drives are bigger, clunkier & not as easy to carry around with my iPad: was fine when transferring from the iPad to the computer first & then backing-up the computer: now I skip the computer stage completely & do it directly from the iPad mini that saves me a lot of time! This is almost perfect for that & the only thing that lets it down slightly is the connection. My first back-up was of course the biggest, with everything, of over 500GB it failed twice because the connection was suddenly lost. The USB-C slot on the hard drive is very shallow so, cables don’t go all the way in & jut out a little bit. So, with big transfers that take a long time, several hours, a slight bit of movement can dislodge the connection & this is not helped by how very short the cable is. I used the 1 meter cable that came with the iPad & that made it easier so, I finally managed that initial first back-up of everything on my 3rd try! I now don’t use the very short cable that comes with this hard drive at all as there’s not much wriggle room with the shallow connection slot: may be fine for short small transfers; wouldn’t risk it with longer bigger transfers! Edit:- Lost ALL of my data! Only lasted about 6/7 months & some things I had taken off my iPad onto this, I can NEVER get back!
