Life As A House [DVD]

Beautifully acted. Great story without being sentimental. Cinematography was superb. Loved the fact that it kept a balance and proper perspective with humour around the main characters’ storylines with authentic realism.

What a delight this film was. Great script, great direction and a stellar cast all at their best. Kevin Kline on good form and Hayden Christensen was so believable as Sam Monroe (hence all the award nominations he recirbed) . A film to watch again and again, bittersweet and triumphant. Loved it.

The order came quickly and was cheap but unfortunately the DVD didn't work. It keeps skipping, even after I have cleaned it.

One of our favourite films of all time; funny and poignant, beautifully acted and directed, and with a stunning soundtrack.
