Very handy for bread shaping

Love the rustic lines on it so much that I am using one as a toastie holder and the other one for proofing. Might seem a bit small, but it will proof enough dough for 4 pizzas or 2 large breads.

The basket it self is very good, ,but the cloth it comes with was dirty and it had to be washed before use.

Having dried them out I was eager to see how well they worked. I made up a batch of bread and put it in the basket and covered. The baskets are small enough to fit in a microwave so I placed the basket inside and away from any drafts as it very cold and windy at the moment. After 30 minutes the dough had risen so I kneaded it and placed it back in the basket in the microwave. I did this a couple of times and when ready for baking it had completely filled the basket - happy days! This is only the second loaf of bread I have every made (successfully anyway) so I was really happy with the results (see picture). Will be making lots more bread from now on. Happy to recommend.

Nice baskets, but too small. I had to send them back so I can’t say what they might be like in us, just that they looked nice enough and were well packaged, but sadly 10 inches is not big enough for 800g loaves. Looks like they would suit small 400g loaves but certainly no where near big enough for the full size bloomers I need to make.

I absolutely love these proving baskets. Made of natural rattan with a removable linen lining, they have a beautiful simplicity to them. No more leaving the dough to prove in a bowl. From now on I’m using these. They’re even attractive enough to use as a bread basket at the dinner table. You get a pair in the set. Great quality. Highly recommend.

The measurements are exactly as per the listing description, perfect for my needs. The liner fabric seems of decent quality and thickness. I used one basket; the other I keep as a spare. For a few years, I have baked my own sourdough bread, and these baskets are perfect for proofing my medium-sized bread made from 600g of flour. They are not easy to keep clean, but as they are not my first proofing baskets, I know how to do it. They are not the cheapest set, but they are of good quality and reasonably priced, so I would happily recommend them.
