A long time ago, I used to have an adapter like this, with different heads that could be used for various power supplies. As time goes on, you don't use it much, and then somehow, it gets lost. When I saw this, I grabbed it because it's nice to have when you need it.

Electrically this power supply works great. I got it because I wanted to power a charging stand for a handheld radio. Unfortunately the stacked length of the barrel plug on the end of the cable plus the correct adapter is WAY too long to actually fit into the charging base. I ended up cutting off the original cable and wiring it up with the included screw-terminal adapter. I suppose that shows how versatile this kit is, but if you need to plug it straight into a jack make sure you have 2" of space behind the jack to allow for the plug and adapter!

Years ago I got a generic power supply at Radio Shack that had a terminal at the end which you could use to connect different tips to charge different things. I remember thinking that it was a great idea. Over the years I lost the power supply, and would occasionally look for something like that in stores to no avail.Finally, at long last this beauty came around! This is a great adapter with a universal set of tips that can be used to charge almost any small appliance. I particularly like that the interchangeable tips come with a rubber retaining strip so that they can be taken out and put back. That way, you can keep everything together without fear of losing the different connectors. I also really like that one of the tips is an adapter that allows wires to be connected directly, which makes it even more versatile.I wish the wattage were greater, but this is going to come in very handy in my home. The price point is also incredible. Every home should have one! Highly recommended.

Its impossible to label and keep every adapter for every device around the house. This universal adapter fixes much of that. I still have a box filled with retired adapters but I rarely have to dig through it anymore.

My mistake. I do have many different 12v devices where this is useful from HDMI adapters to chargers and some routers (other routers may require more than 2A or a different voltage).

I have a box of these adapters and inevitably they never work for what I need because the connector tip isn’t quite the right size. The included set of adapters help solve this perfectly!I I got this because my house has an under cabinet set of LED lights, but no power supply – and I couldn’t figure out what connector was necessary, despite having several in the cabinet. I was able to quickly find the right tip and now, as they say, let there be light!Great plug, great adapter set, great value.

I ordered this to replace my guest room's Blu-ray player AC adapter (which I stored away and cannot find). I was worried about specs/compatibility. Still, the manufacturer provided a relatively thorough explanation regarding compatibility through the detailed picture (with text), which made me feel secure about my decision and choice of this specific brand. The cable length is excellent, and the adapter (fireproof shell included), cord, and LED indicator are well-made components that I trust will be safe. I genuinely appreciate the interchangeable DC plug tips, as the diameter of the primary end was too big for the input of my player's socket. The 4.0 x 1.77mm (letter G) was easily identifiable and perfectly fit the adapter and my device. I did not experience any problems during the entire film I watched, and the adapter remained cool to the touch (which was an excellent sign). Once I retrieve my Blu-ray player's original adapter, it will be great to have this as a spare that can power many devices if necessary. But this replacement does what it should without a single problem, so if I have lost the OEM AC adapter for good, I am confident in its ability to work and continue working for a long time. I strongly recommend it and give it a perfect rating. If anything changes my outlook, I will return to update my review accordingly. But my first impressions are great. 5/5

The only thing that could make this better is a higher wattage rating as it is limited to 24 watts.I have a lot of 12V DC camping gear (lights, etc) so I can power it all from either the cigarette lighter adapter in my van or from wiring in my camping trailer. But there are times when I want to either use or charge the gear inside my home, and a DC charger is necessary.This comes with a wide assortment of tips that cover almost any size barrel jack, but best of all they include a "wiring" adapter that allows you to connect wiring directly to the adapter. That allows you to improvise your own adapter if necessary.I'm very pleased with this AC/DC charger and you really can't beat the price for both the charger and all the assorted tips.
