This lens was for my son and he is thrilled with it for the price. It has taken his pictures to a new level!

After testing this lens on a Fuji X series, I purchased it and the camera for friend. I was so surprised that a lens at this price could produce sharp images wide open at f1.8 that I purchased one for myself. I have other f1.8 50mm and 50mm equivalent lenses at four and five times the price. I cannot see a big difference between them and the TTArtisans.

The media could not be loaded. The lens is sharp, is pretty good, i used it a few months without any issue and it was perfect, i was gonna give it 5 stars, but recenty it started to stuck it's aperture, and it's a constant pain in the ass, because i have to turn on/off the camera a few times, and changes apertures until it unstucks. I talked with TTartisan Support about it and they didn't give me much attention, only sent me a video showing that i had to strike the lens with the palm of my hand to unstuck it, but i told them that doesn't seem like the issue and doesn't solve it, it's not like a mechanichal flaw, it's seems to be a communication problem beetween the camera and the lens, because sometimes when the camera turns off, the lens closes it's apertures to the minimum, and some times it just turns off in the aperture you had selected, but it's such a pain and sucks, because sometimes you take out your camera to take a picture, select for example f 1.8, and you were at f 5.6 or viceversa. Sometimes it unstucks quickly, but sometimes it doesn't want to.

Me sorprendió la calida de construcción del lente y la velocidad del autofoco...Viñetea un poco, pero nada que no se pueda solucionar en post producción...muy contento con el lente ..

Good image quality, well built, autofocus is good in good lighting but fails in dim light. Vignette is heavy wide open. Really good value for money
