Soldering Iron CS18 from ANTEX (S482470)

One of the best 18 watt bench soldering irons out there. Mainly used for smaller scale solder projects like soldering audio cables and XLR TRS connectors. Works perfectly for these projects.

Good iron, I should of gone for a slightly larger one but this does the job ok

Have always used cheap soldering irons for working on my guitars but after my latest one died i decided to purchase this. Wish i had done it sooner, makes soldering a lot easier

Great brand. Previous one lasted 30 years. This newer model did not disappoint. Ordered new stand and spare tip at the same time. Great for my electronics projects.

light,nice to hold,good quality,british made. An ideal choice for the model maker.I believe spares are also available,so not just a throw away,but should give years of service.

I previously used a Margaret Beale soldering iron which was perfect. Fine point on nib, worked perfectly for textile soldering. This however, and despite ordering a fin tip as the one ordered came with a chisel nib, was not fine enough. Probably suitable for soldering other than textiles, but would advise against buying this if its textiles you want it for.
